Shooting for 6 months now with an HW35. It took nerve and mistakes but I was able to successfully put in a JM spring and Vortek seal. Learning and confidence have increased with patience. I also bought a Silver Star a couple months ago since pistols don’t count.

Did a Jimmie Dee trigger adjustment this morning on the .177 Silver Star. Got the rd close to zero resting the butt on a bag. The safety is extremely tight now. I loosened the grip screws without any change. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Thanks. That first tinker is a tough one. Not without scratches, stripping threads, and improper tools. I’ve passed a small hump and have more, but not too much. It is my HW35 pictured. The brass safety button is hit or miss. My trigger is lined up perfectly, yet the safety isn’t always catching.
