    N/A Pistol Shooting Eye Fatigue

@.20calguy said earlier; "I generally have contrasting backgrounds to help with visibility." The olympic shooters seem to all have a black background / wall, then a black box with a white square target paper with a black target area. Have you tried a different shooting setup? Maybe those...

    Scope recomendations?

Disclaimer: I am a Hawke fanboi. I have several Hawke Airmax scopes so that I "always come home" to the same reticle. I have three of these 3-12x40 scopes and I really like the reticle if you hadn't figured that out by now. 😀. Oh look, it is on sale! I might have too grab another, that is a...

    N/A Pistol Shooting Eye Fatigue

@Ezana4CE - What reflex sight are you using? Have tried a different model or a red dot? Are you taking breaks between shots?

MOST pellets like to be in the 800 - 900 fps range out of a PCP. I suggest starting on the low end and see how the groups are and go from there. There are a lot of videos on the subject. I would start there first so you do not reinvent the rifle tunes.

    Scope recomendations?

It would help us to spend your money if we knew more information. What rifle and caliber? Intended use? Dollar amount? There are quite a few different vendors that have more bells and whistles. Digital scopes with built in range finder and hold over calculators are now available so no...

Airforce Worst PCP ever and I am ashamed that I fibbed.

My first PCP was a .25 Condor SS. Was a great hunting PCP but a horrible plinking PCP. Best I could do was 2 inch groups at 50 yards for about ten shots per fill. I hand pumped that damn rifle for two months. I got really lucky and sold it for only a $100 loss. Figured that was a great...

    Benjamin New Pistol

That is a nice pistol and a great platform. This is my first pistol marauder. I am getting 11 fpe with really good accuracy. Looks like a deep rabbit hole.

N/A I want a cheap, really precise pistol with enough power to do small game

I believe you are looking for a Steyr pistol. Most pistols in this class are shooting 450 - 500 fps. Works out to only 3 fpe. The Steyr can get up to 650 fps so 6 fpe. Cost is relative to performance. https://www.steyr-sport.com/en/air-pistols/steyr-lp-50-lp-50-compact

N/A What air pistol do you use for pest control?

The Huben GK1 is a great pistol until it isn't a pistol anymore. The last time I shot mine I heard the dreaded pop! whishhhhhhhhhh! and air started pouring out of the barrel. Again. It was at a 250 bar fill, set for a very mild 16 fpe, the magazine was stuck? Not centered after the first...

    Benjamin New Pistol

Ordered a custom field target pistol from Airgun Revisions. I have two tins of pellets through it. Added some nice furniture to it today. Amazingly accurate pistol. The 10.3's seem to buck the wind like a .22. Put a Burris 2-7x32 pistol scope on it. Hitting spinners and cans with aplomb in...

    Taking the plunge into PCP

Buy a small GX compressor and fill the rifle directly. Auto Stop is a must which ever model you purchase. I suggest avoiding a tank for right now. Start a budget, you are going to need it. 😀

Oh USPS, let me count the ways I detest you

Update: My package has still not been delivered. It looks like the USPS are now playing ping pong with it between the Detroit and Taylor post offices. AGAIN. 🤬 Every single time I have to deal with this post office it turns into a cluster. I detest the USPS.

    Crazy New Gun Justification

Been there, owned one and sold it. The HW97k is one of my favorites. I highly recommend one in .20 caliber.

N/A old man that is newby to air guns

@banjopicker - I tried a $300 .25 springer. It sits in my attic now. I could not hit the broadside of a barn when I am standing inside of it with the damn thing. Horrible. Another vote for the Notos / mini carbine. Will be enough power for humane kills and easy on your budget. The Notos...

    Crazy New Gun Justification

I ordered 10 tins of .22 H&N Field Target Trophy Pellets from Midway and received one tin of .20 H&N Field Target Trophies. So I called AoA and ordered a HW97k. Solved that pellet problem.

I suggest setting a budget. The next rifle will cost at least $1000. 😀

    HW97 UPDATE

Yes. Perhaps a Vortek or Macari kit but 700ish fps is perfect for .22 springers. Plus all that leverage with the under lever makes it an all day shooter.
