May want to check your GX CS2 inspection plug.

Could of just put a piece of tape over it on the outside, and that way it would of blown off if needed as well. Early plugs are solid, but those are also vented differently than the newer compressors.

GX incorporated the radiator modification when it was brought to their attention of its benefits. They do a great job listening to their customers!

    Midwest Air Gun Show

It was definitely nice meeting up with people, that's the best part of the show. I did get to see some amazing progress on a part being made for one of my airguns. Excellent work...I was extremely impressed. In the near future, it'll allow a mid 1700's air rifle to be used again. I did pick...

GX CS4 'O' rings supplied with new compressor.

With only 3hrs, you probably have a leak. You won't need all those seals for rebuild. If you did it would be catastrophic damage to have occurred. If it doesn't leak down, is may be over greased.

    GX Compressor repair

Things to do/look for As said above...check valve Safety valve, make sure no air is leaking there Test with the deadhead and see if the air bleeds down when you shut it off...if it does, you'll need some soapy water to find the leak. Common spot is under the pressure gauge. If it doesn't leak...

Interesting if it's a true 1inch mount. I did zoom in on your pic and it doesn't look like the rings are fully seated, hard to say... but it's a rare one if that's actually true (odd ball US market produced one maybe?). 26mm for RB and their large tubes are 30mm. I would love to see a better...

    It only takes 2 people...

Most of them use a 26mm ring, not a standard 1inch unless the tube is dented. I've never seen a Nickles that uses a true 1 inch ring. Granted, I haven't seen a lot of them, but a few had come through my Father's shop. You also know that scope was sold well under its true value. But if it's only...

It is because of the reticle, it's also a top of the line manufacturer. Not to mention those scopes have limited market. It's also an older out of production one, so if someone wants that exact model, they'll pay up for it. New, they are thousands, and many times are made to order. I have one...

May want to check your GX CS2 inspection plug.

Definitely a breather, it's made that way for a reason. Earlier ones are vented differently The cylinder venting on the cs2 and cs3 has changed several times over the years as well as the fan directions. GX has spent many many hours and dollars in R&D on these compressors. You can even see...

Production quantities of the Benjamin Rogue

I know this gun was a total flop for Crosman, and was only made for about 2 years. Hand pumping it would of been no fun, and at the time there were no inexpensive compressors to fill it...tanks would of been about mandatory. Then the high cost of the gun itself, I can't imagine there are a lot...

Any one tear down a GX CS4?

Omega cylinder repair... this is very similar to the cs4. Pulling the cylinder off and replacing it is very easy. Rebuilding one, that's a lot more involved.

Any one tear down a GX CS4?

It is just an expensive part, and rarely do they go bad. Water corrosion is the number one cause of failure. Use water wetter or some kind of coolant to stop that and it will last. AOA has a video of an Omega being broken down. It's probably the best video out there of a cylinder that is...
