Most wftf shooters don't miss targets due to poor ranging....but some think they do. I have thought that on several occasions but eventually figured out that was not really the problem at all.

When you range a target incorrectly you hit higher or lower of center. Round holes get smaller as you move away from center....squares do not.

Just posting the ranges would make more sense. Then the new shooters wouldn't even have to buy a rangefinder. Of course, just making the kill zones square instead of round would solve any rangefinding advantage anyone had and make it the same no matter what scope you used. But, I agree...
