    Benjamin Marauder tank modification

Kind of like the arms race. M-Rod folks just have a M-Rod or a few. Not like we bought a FX1, then a FX2, then a FX3 then a FX4 and then a FX5 and then a upcoming FX6 where the number of FX guns to be owned is equal to N+1. Of course it has been pointed out that modding the old M-Rod is a waste...

Benjamin Muting the Marauder (How to make the quietest Marauder possible)

I use the one inch brush from this kit or similar from Ace. I cut the handle end off to shorten it and then bend it over to make a hook or loop so that I can grab it and pull it out for maintenance.

Put "him" on ignore. That is what I did. Life is better.

There should be a manual and a test target.

Benjamin Muting the Marauder (How to make the quietest Marauder possible)

The JSAR valve is balanced desgn, the Hill valve is a standard Benji-type knockoff with some improvements. I use my JSAR valve in a Huma regulated rifle and the Tim Hill is in an unregulated rifle. Both rifles can run up to 60 fpe, though usually set down around 54 fpe. I have the JSAR plastic...

Benjamin Muting the Marauder (How to make the quietest Marauder possible)

Not had any problem with my JSAR valved rifle. I also have the Hill valve, completely different in behavior. I just do not find the (.25) Marauder to need much to be quiet. Two of mine have shortened shrouds and fewer cups and are still relatively quiet. The hammer systems seem to produce more...

    Crosman .25 Marauder for coyotes?

The real question to me, is a .25 caliber .34 grain pellet moving at it's optimal maximum velocity of 880-950 fps enough to kill a coyote humanely? Several of my M-Rod .25 rifles can push pellets beyond their stable velocity. I cannot see how some other X-brand .25 pellet rifle could be any...

    Benjamin Marauder question scope

That is because you are pulling back on the bolt and the larger the handle the more offset the force. The thumb rest works much better with the original bolt, place thumb on rest, fingers on bolt in as close to the center line as possible, squeeze hand and the rifle cocks easier than my side...

    Benjamin Marauder question scope

All you need for the stated purpose is a 3-12X40 or similar with an adjustable parallax. A .25 M-Rod will easily do what you want with power and accuracy. Get one prepared by Airgun Revisions for the best experience unless you know how to tune. And the M-Rod is excellent for learning. Simple...

    Benjamin Marauder tank modification

I do not get the "old" thing either since the gun is still in production. I have PBs that were last produced 100 years ago and a few that were designed over a hundred years ago yet are brand spanking new. What gives with air gun people and "old" is kind of weird. These are new, they are only a...

N/A Which of your airguns would you choose for a 60yd target for only one shot?

That is all good but they are a primary rabies vector and I have twice spent $3000 repairing damage to foundations where they dug undermining the foundation. If they stay in the "wilderness" then they are fine, if they come dig under my house or barn or porch and chase my wife they are not long...

    Shooting Sticks

Just came across these: https://www.cabelas.com/p/cabelas-kwik-stik-bipod-shooting-rest-101161115 Cabela's Kwik Stik. Two sizes. The smaller is good for sitting to kneeling from the ground and the larger for perhaps kneeling or using a stool. Super light and definitely quick. Pop the Velcro...

    Daystate Black Wolf

Dive shops in active areas should be able to handle 3,500 psi and their bank bottles are often up near 4,500 psi. SCUBA HP80 and HP100 tanks take a 3,450 psi fill.

    Benjamin Coffee and trigger time

I had coffee in the bottle as a baby. I drink two cups in the morning and a third in the afternoon. In between if I want coffee I get decaf. As much as "they" have tried there has never been found anything really bad about coffee and a lot of good. I was 69yo in the picture, does not seem to be...
