Adjusting the regulator on my P35s takes about 15 minutes. I do not do it often so I don't think it's a big deal. Hammer spring adjustment is not hard on my Avenger but it's easier on my P35s. I do that a lot more. Bullshark is just a more solid better made airgun in my opinion

I just loosely hold the cocking lever open with one hand as I test the trigger with the other. I catch the cocking lever as the trigger releases the hammer so the bolt doesn't fly forward. With the gun upside-down in a gun vice it's easy to make adjustments while testing the trigger.

In this thread we are talking about a short u3 with a 400mm barrel. I wrote in the title (compact). U2 and U3 are completely different valve designs. For the U3 valve, adjusting the hammer spring gives big differences but resembles krait tuning. Accurate positioning is important.
