May have to pull the transfer port and make sure the holes match up with the numbers on the dial. Some have reported that the transfer port holes got misaligned and you could be on a smaller hole and not know it. Also pull the barrel and see what transfer port is on the brass barrel attachment...

I usually start at max on the dial and then turn in the small adjustment screw till I get about 30-40 fps faster than I want my final velocity to be. I then back off the dial to get my final velocity.

Curious how wide the doppler band is coming out of these style chronographs. How close, or inline, would each need to be in order to read the shot vs off to the side? They are not triggered like the Labradar so they are always emitting a radar search.

Not everyone is shooting in close proximety groups. Kind of a bold statement to say, "Don't bother since it doesn't work in this one sinario." More of a heads up for group shooters.

Those rings are needed for the huge objective bell you have. Look at how high a bullpup gun scope has to be mounted to get a decent cheekweld. Your scope is closer to your barrel than alot of other setups that have to clear a tall mag or receiver.

Having a scope lower to the barrel helps. You may be able to use lower rings with your setup than people stuck with higher rings. Less rise for the pellet to reach your scope height zero.
