What pistol did you shoot today

GK 1, up at at higher power today after months of shooting it in the 30 to 40 FPE range. The small LDC is not quite doing the trick and it's kind of fun shooting some thing with a bit of a report. Those pellets are really scooting... will have to clock them next time. I feel like the report...

Paypal No Longer Safe for Selling Airguns (Scammers Have Won)

This is pretty twisted..lol. The type of thought process criminals use to justify theft in the first place. How dare that large corp make too much money. They are victimizing the consumers so they deserve to get it stuck to themselves once in awhile. Single biggest benefactor…isn’t that the...

Paypal No Longer Safe for Selling Airguns (Scammers Have Won)

I'm glad that PayPal ended up being the one holding the bag though, regardless of anything else. They are the single biggest benefactor from all of the successful transactions so they should also occasionally have to deal with the cons of their own business model. Seems the corporate...

    N/A Bullpup Vs. Pistol

I hear you - that forward breach is really a design for firearms with so much more power available. I find the pups to be an attractive design. I have an Empire XS in .22 which is a nice gun as far as i can tell. i've got a GK one, and the past couple weeks I've been thinking if I had...

    Non- Lead Ammo

There are alternative casting metals believe Rotometals sells some. I wonder if some creative person cooked up some pellets with an alternative to the shiny light metal alloys that are currently used, if they would make bank?

What pistol did you shoot today

Those are beautiful. I got a look at one when I bought my Webley tempest back in 1998 - would love to have gotten one but it was out of my budget at the time. I'm realizing I don't remember how you cock those - can't say that I can figure it out from the pic. Especially with the scopes on there...

Huben Any issues or problems with Huben gk1 please share your experience

I wonder how many of these rare problems with the spring and mechanism are caused by people trying to rapidfire this thing at the highest fill and power levels? I would guess the majority but I don't know that of course

    Huben .25 Slugs for GK1?

Bob's boattail slugs. Molds for these can be picked up from NOE bullet molds.

Huben Any issues or problems with Huben gk1 please share your experience

Did you read the manual? I know that's sort of an insulting question because of course you read it, but it says very clearly that mechanism is not designed for high-speed rapid fire. It says explicitly not to attempt to shoot the gun that way so I think the source of your problem might be the...

I have not read through this whole thread. Who sold you that gun? Seems very strange

What pistol did you shoot today

Thinking of plinking with the PP 700 today as a little contrast the the GK1. I LOVE this simple single shot pistol, and how easy and inexpensive it is to change calibers and barrels. Yeah I just realized that most of the guns I like to shoot don't have transfer ports on the barrel, but instead...

    Other Advice on first pcp

Sounds like you need a utility airgun and I would suggest an Air Force because they are extremely reliable don't require a whole lot of maintenance, no regulator so they are predictable on the first shot. Maybe a Talon P in .22 or .25 because it has a small tank and is quite easy to hand pump...

    Air Force Texan leaking

I think you can do fine with a hand pump. I hand pumped Air Force guns for a long time and only had one of those valves ever gum up. I think it's just kind of a standard routine maintenance thing you may have to be prepared for - any device like an air gun with O-rings and high-pressure air is...

New, New, New, New!!!! - JSB

I recognize it's not for everybody but casting is kind of a critical part of the sport for me. I know there are plenty of folks for whom it is absolutely worth the price for the convenience and consistency, but the way (plinking, off hand) I shoot I would feel like a fool to be meeting my daily...

What pistol did you shoot today

I like the looks of those magazines - look super easy to load. Cool that it's just the cylinder without the whole plastic contraption around the outside

    Air Force Texan leaking

Likewise the only issue I've ever had with an Air Force gun was corrosion in the fill nipple, which is a very simple fix. Clean it up and replace any damaged O-rings as the previous user mentioned.
