PCP Rifle WTB/WTT for Evol carbine

I am wanting an AAA Evol carbine, (or almost any Evol). I'd be willing to trade and make it VERY advantageous to the seller, or I can buy it also. .177 or .22

Brocock/BRK BRK Sniper XR Sahara vs AGT Uragan 2 Compact

Another vote for Brocock, I have a Sniper HR and as was mentioned above, I can't see me getting rid of it. I have more confidence in shooting it at long distance ie 100 yards, than any other gun I own.

RAW Rapid HM1000 rebuild screw up. I’m stuck.

I would GENTLy loosen the gauge til it just barely leaks and let the rifle sit for a while. I've done it a lot and no problem. Doesn't take much loosening at all, and I've been advised on other guns to do this to get around just such a situation. As always, ymmv.

    Athlon Midas Tac 4-15X44

After a less than impressive purchase of a Sidewinder, I found a good deal on a Midas Tac 4-16X44 and it arrived today. First impressions, The MT is a really nice scope. It is as clear as any scope I've ever looked through, no kidding. I've had some really nice scopes in the past, but this one...

    FX 8.4gr .177 pellets

I have read, and have not proof, that JSB makes FX pellets on dies provided (paid for whatever), by FX and that there are very slight differences. Having said that, I use both interchangeably and any difference is probably in my head.

Brocock/BRK My experience with first PCP

I've had a Sniper HR for a while, having bought it here used. It is one of the finest airguns I've ever owned. It is amazingly consistent and accurate. It is my most trusted 100 yard rifle, and that includes the likes of FX Royales, Katran, HW100, BSA R10 MK2 etc, so it's running in some pretty...

AirMaks Arms Katran compact .177 questions

I don't have a compact, but have a Katran L in .177, and it is one of those guns you don't ever want to get rid of. Yeah, they're that good! As to velocity, mine came from the factory shooting 10.5gr at 915fps avg, and a 9fps ES for the entire string. Holy cow it's consistent. I was extremely...

    Hawke Sidewinder 30SF kinda disappointing

An interesting side note, I just bought a used Athlon Midas Tac 4-16X, so we'll see how it stacks up to the Sidewinder

    Buying from a new member

I've been buying and selling online for years and got scammed a couple times but had insurance via goods & services. I've learned a lot. 1) if it's too good to be true.....run. 2) if they balk at providing info, or provide something other than what you asked....run. 3) use g&s AND pay with a...

What Airgun do you have that you would never get rid of for any reason?

I would agree with the one who said the choice moves around at times. I don't see me getting rid of my Bantam Sniper HR or my AR Challenger HFT.

    Hawke Sidewinder 30SF kinda disappointing

I have mounted the SW and shot it on one of my .22 Royales, and will ammend my first impressions slightly. The scope is pretty clear. It is a bit clearer than a very good Airmax. After much adjusting of the ocular lens and getting parallax properly adjusted, the image quality is somewhat...

    Hawke Sidewinder 30SF kinda disappointing

I've been trying out 100 yard shooting with my pellet rifles and having only one 4-16X scope, and normally using something 10x or 12X, I thought the memorial day sales offered a chance to have something with a bit more zoom. So I ordered the 6.5-20X44 Hawke Sidewinder, and I'm kind of let...

    Pink Unicorn of scopes

You make a good point about the FX. The Royale 400 is an absolutely fantastic rifle, likely FXs best effort. I have two in 22, one late model with external port adjuster and factory reg, and one early model that came Un-reg'd, but I added a HUMA and it's my favorite and the one I used above...

    Pink Unicorn of scopes

I buy mostly used airguns and in the process, get a lot of, shall we say, "less than desirable" scopes. A while ago, I bought a second FX Royale in .22, and on board, was one of "those" scopes. A Centerpoint 4-16X40 scope. Upon opening the box, I immediately noted the scope, took it off and...

N/A What is the most accurate.177 PCP at 100yds all opinions welcome???

I have on the occasion of a calm day shot 2-1/4" groups at 100 yards with my.22 BRCK Sniper, using 18gr jsb pellets. It was my first go at 100 yds and I posted the results here. Just the other day I shot one of my FX Royale 22s at the same distance resting off my truck bed again shooting at a...

    Airgun Anonymous

First, you'd have to define addiction. I only have an airgun once or twice a day. I don't have to have it though. Just because I hide my packages containing pellets and scopes isn't significant. It's also self sustaining, the recycle value of empty tins pays for more pellets! I see no problem.

How Often do you shoot ALL your guns ? For those with many airguns

I think I have 10 pcp rifles. I usually rotate them every few weeks. I keep thinking I'll let some go but it hasn't happened yet. I was just thinking the other day, which was my favorite, and couldn't pick one. My BRCK is my 100 yard gun, I'm working on a Royale for 100 yards too. I have...

Well, I'll drag out one of my Royales later today and see how they like a bit higher speed. Thanks for the heads up.
