I had one. It was stupid heavy and uncomfortable. For rested shots it would be just fine, but walking and stalking it’s just too darn heavy.

Midas tac 4-16 ffp is still my favorite scope to date.

Hit the mail on the head. That anti double load feature on the first vet was the main reason I owned it. I sold it because of the rear cocking (sorry, not sorry), and I was so hopeful with the new vet, but after seeing the lack of anti double load, i looked passed the purchase to something else.

You will find the classifieds seem to work in cycles. Sometimes, there’s a ton of a specific gun for sale, other times, there’s none. It depends what the flavor of the month is at the time. I, and a few others have wtb ads up right now for leshiy 2’s. Seems they are the flavor this month 🤷🏻‍♂️

That crown is a think of beauty. That TJ barrel would take all my worries out of owning one. With the ultra compact barrel, it looks a lot like a BSA offering, but bottle fed. I like it a lot. Wouldn’t mind owning a crown again. It was one of the best shouldering guns I’ve ever owned!

It will be a noticeable difference in noise level at the same power output. My 22 crown with 380 was still backyard friendly, not so sure a 30cal would be.
