Corrosion had nothing to do with it. Long term testing during the development of the Avenge-X suggested that stainless regulator bodies provided more stable performance across a wider pressure range than brass did. Certainly doesn't make them perfect, but they're definitely an improvement.

Maybe it’s unclear from Ron’s post, but the BOG sent this to clubs yesterday as their new methodology for rule changes going forward. This was not in place before then. Im glad to see something formalized from the BOG for these processes.

Not quite, Air Arms is working with an Indian air rifle manufacturer (Precihole) to produce a replacement rifle for the T200/S200 model, which they are calling the X200. The gun was designed in-house, by Air Arms. But manufacturing in the UK, they cannot achieve the price needed for the X200...

I think there are a handful out there. There’s another interesting prototype, the crosman butterfly PCP handpump that was shown at SHOT in 2013-14. Not sure how many of those are out there.

Sure thing. If my memory is correct, I know Crosman worked with Bob for a few years, but it never amounted to anything that went to full production for them.

The pump mech for the Dragonfly Mk2 was designed with Bob Moss actually.

If they were life extended past 15 years and had beem MAE tested, then he is correct (only way to tell would be to look at the last recert sticker on the tank). But outside of that, it definitely seems odd that they couldn't be hydro tested. I suppose there could be some odd standard in place...
