EFT (GP) BR and Silhouette - Williams, AZ - UPDATED INFO ATTACHED

I'm also super excited for this Williams match. If Martin can fit in a third round of 100 yard benchrest, I'd personally like to see the winner be the highest aggregate score of all 3 rounds. (ps, if the third round becomes a Sunday deal, I'll probably pull my registration and ask for a...

I DECLINE the invitation and the implied nomination. You're doing a great job Mark.

    Skout Barrel Collecting Lead

6 or so years ago I had a gun (standard Lothar barrel) that loved Crosman Premier pellets. Premiers are very similar in hardness to the JTS lead formula. Prior to the Premiers it did pretty good with JSB pellets. So I shot it for about two years, solely with the premiers. And in a similar...

    MAC1 USFT Analysis/Overview

Had another session with the stinker barrel....and it's still a stinker barrel. Was really hoping that not shooting as fast would eliminate that random flyer, but it remains, even when REALLY concentrating. Not very often, occasionally it'll even shoot ten in a row without a flyer, but...

    NSA .20/18.9grain slug results

Please let us know how the Zans shoot. I suspect the 25grain will be a little long for typical airgun barrel twist rates, but I'm still curious to see some real-world results.

RTI P1 Performance, it's 1:32 LR barrel - "light" slugs - anyone had any luck? ( and why do I hate MRD's? )

I tried some slugs from my 1:32 RTI and it was no bueno, couldn't keep em on paper @ 100 yards. Seems like I tried some NSAs in the 20-28grain range, some Varmint Knockers from 22-28grains, and some of the 32.? Gr Altaros. None of those were joy. BUT, the 1:32 RTI barrel is the best barrel...

    MAC1 USFT Analysis/Overview

I've had some learning experiences with this stinker barrel in the last few days. I first installed it on my USFT to shoot it as-is, for a baseline. Easy peasy on a USFT, two Phillips screws to remove the wood block under the gun, then loosen the four breech bolts that go all the way through...

    Brocock/BRK BRK

I've only needed to pull the valve from one BRK bottle and it was a bear! Quite tight, and maybe even some glue?

    NSA .20/18.9grain slug results

Just took them to a new longest yet range, lasered 296 yards. Strelok tells me 192 clicks, @ 1/10th mil each so 19.2 mils. And I'm using 10 mils of turret clicks and another 9.5ish of holdover so a whole lot of ish here. Strelok also says they should have about 15fpe still left at this...

Events Airgunners of Arizona FT match near Flagstaff AZ on Sat June 15th

I'm not any sort of club leadership but just wanting to share about this upcoming match. The guys that run these matches have been doing it for so long that it's just a given for them that these matches happen. They send out email reminders to those that have attended in the past. I'm simply...

Brocock/BRK Ghost Carbine Three Groups at 40 yards…

The best safety is a de-cocked gun. I can't remember the last time I used a safety on any airgun I own.

20% off Ammo Sale | NSA

Although I had a pretty decent little stash of magic beans ( .20/18.9) I couldn't resist the sale and put in another order. I just checked time stamps and I submitted my order @ 1:13 am on June 4, and had shipping confirmation with tracking number @ 8:34 am, also on June 4th. That's pretty...

    MAC1 USFT Analysis/Overview

Traded out the barrels to see how @SAZs barrel compares to mine. Measurement wise, the OD of his is about 0.005" bigger, and that required opening up the ID of a spare moderator adaptor a bit to work. Got it installed now though and took a few shots yesterday evening. I don't get this gun...

    Taipan Well I found one.....

@Dairyboy, As alluded to in this discussion a few times, and as you're well aware, the Vet platform is special. Yeah people can find some niggles here and there, but the sum of the design outweighs the few negatives. In other words, the Vet platform is "worth more than the sum of its parts."...

Re-"design" a new Field Target game

Super fun match! In my mind it wasnt earlier than spring 2018 and I didn't remember this one being in the fall.

Re-"design" a new Field Target game

I dug pretty hard but couldn't find one of the bell target where you had to shoot through the curved conduit. I did find some photos of some of the other described targets though (bell up in the tree, and target on a swinging log). https://www.airgunnersofarizona.org/may-2019-match-report.html

    Skout goes Tesla!

Not familiar with any details there....generally speaking, he who has the deepest pockets for lawyers fees is usually the "winner" in situations like this. With the "winner" not necessarily being who was the originator of the concept or idea or design.

    Skout goes Tesla!

STO or Skout? Who's got the deepest pocket for lawyers fees? Cuz that's who wins this one, as has often occurred in other "acquisitions" of concepts in the airgun industry.

Shop compressor for altaros booster pump?!?.

60gallon 12scfm @ 90 psi sounds great. At the same restrictor setting as mine, since I'm at about a 2:1 rest to run ratio, you'd have something like a 4:1 rest to run ratio. Napkin math here, since you've got a bit better than double the scfm. As for the 60gallon versus 20gallon tank in the...
