What pistol did you shoot today

Thinking of plinking with the PP 700 today as a little contrast the the GK1. I LOVE this simple single shot pistol, and how easy and inexpensive it is to change calibers and barrels. Yeah I just realized that most of the guns I like to shoot don't have transfer ports on the barrel, but instead...

    Other Advice on first pcp

Sounds like you need a utility airgun and I would suggest an Air Force because they are extremely reliable don't require a whole lot of maintenance, no regulator so they are predictable on the first shot. Maybe a Talon P in .22 or .25 because it has a small tank and is quite easy to hand pump...

    Air Force Texan leaking

I think you can do fine with a hand pump. I hand pumped Air Force guns for a long time and only had one of those valves ever gum up. I think it's just kind of a standard routine maintenance thing you may have to be prepared for - any device like an air gun with O-rings and high-pressure air is...

New, New, New, New!!!! - JSB

I recognize it's not for everybody but casting is kind of a critical part of the sport for me. I know there are plenty of folks for whom it is absolutely worth the price for the convenience and consistency, but the way (plinking, off hand) I shoot I would feel like a fool to be meeting my daily...

What pistol did you shoot today

I like the looks of those magazines - look super easy to load. Cool that it's just the cylinder without the whole plastic contraption around the outside

    Air Force Texan leaking

Likewise the only issue I've ever had with an Air Force gun was corrosion in the fill nipple, which is a very simple fix. Clean it up and replace any damaged O-rings as the previous user mentioned.

    GX CS4 Hour meter

I had to get one with two sensitivity levels and set it to the higher setting. For me attaching it right where the GX stencil is to the right of the bleed screw worked, and a couple other areas I tried did not.

N/A Great Pcps for under $600

I know getting parts / service is a problem but the kral empire xs is a nice little bullpup. Somebody already took the PP 700 and talon P both guns i might have selected.

AEA Aea hp semi auto td 25cal

I have an aea 25 cal semi auto carbine. I don't shoot it unless I'm in the mood to spend an hour of my time taking it apart to unjam it or replace the valve pin. On the plus side, there is the added element of excitement when I shoot it because each pull of the trigger is a roll of the...

    N/A Artemis PP700S-A leaking.

I recall someone having a hard time getting it to seal after opening it up to get a look at the regulator. Some kind of crush washer I believe that takes a lot of force to develop a seal. He could not do it in the end and ended up adding an additional O-ring in there in such a way that it...

What pistol did you shoot today

Nice plinking gun. My understanding is the orientation of the piston / spring means the recoil is not reversed like it is for some springers. not that this would make any difference to my shooting or enjoyment just a random fact

Microscope pictures of ZAN BR100 30 Cal 56 Grain Pellet and ZAN .30 Cal 45.5 Grain Slug

I'm guessing that the reshaping that happens when the air blows the skirt into the rifling cancels some of this out? The skirts are getting reshaped/swaged. It would be interesting to see them after being fired recovered from a water bucket or something

Evanix No Love for Evanix on AGN?

I love my .357 rex and rex p. They are "Utility airguns" I guess because the trigger is quite stiff. I am fond of the under lever forward cocking mechanism and the in line air cylinder and barrel. These are basically like Korean versions of Air Force guns. Condor-like but with the pellet...

    "No airguns allowed here"

Just curious - do ranges require you buy their ammo when you shoot? I have only shot on my own property and have no experience. It sounded a little crazy but I thought I read about that somewhere for some ranges. Maybe airgunners mess with the profitability? There is a large bowling alley in...

Yong Heng junk!!!!! Time for a altaros booster pump

I hand pumped my air guns for about a year before getting a compressor. It's good for your upper body among other things. For bottle guns it could get pretty tedious so like someone else mentioned when you're hand pumping you don't want to let the pressure drop too much between fills. Very...
