Where is your IHS set at? There is a huge difference between PW7 with the IHS screwed all the way in and PW7 with the IHS backed up to 5.5mm. You can go to 6.0mm bu I have never needed to.

I tried to get my Maverick 25 compact to shoot slugs. Even tried Hybrids. They did better than anything else but still left much to be desired. A 600mm barrel is the minimum I have found for good slug performance. Jerkey has great advice for the Compact barrel.

My wife’s 22 M3 is set up to shoot JSB 25.39’s at 920 fps and if I move the power wheel up two positions it shoots the RMR (hybrids) @ 980. Both deliver good accuracy. I have tried this stunt with other slugs and with poor luck though.
