HW/Weihrauch Matching caliber to rifle, Weihrauch style...

What .22 springer shoots with that kind of power? Maybe your definition of mid-weight is different than mine? 18 grain at 900 is 32 ft lbs. There isn't a Weirauch in the catalog that can do that.

    Ohio

Grew up on a farm in Greenford. My brother has the farm now. I don't get to visit much anymore, but I will message you the next time I'm headed up that way.

    N/A Scopes and gas rams?

If that's the way you treat friends, must be really bad to be an enemy?

    It is supposed to.

    Used and/or refurbished?

Basically they were warranty returns. They went back to the manufaturers service center, were tested and repaired if needed. Then they go back to the vendor. I have bought a couple and they were fine. I was squadded with a manufacture rep at a field target match a few years ago. He was...

    N/A Scopes and gas rams?

The 30mm UTGs have been proven to be very reliable for the price and the warranty is good.

    Better wood on air rifles

Sorry, traded it off. I had inletted it to fit another rifle, so the difference was obvious. I had to be very carful how I approached the project,.

    Better wood on air rifles

I had a Marlin with one of those highly figured stocks. It was just painted on somehow. When nicked, the wood underneath was plain white. No grain and no way make it match the original.

    Nosey Neighbors?

Should have invited them to shoot too.

    Nosey Neighbors?

I just shoot in the front yard. No need to try and be sneaky. Plus there is livestock in back that can complicate target placement.

    1377 mods

Longer barrel and open up the transer port for a little more power. Steel breech is a little more accurate and allows a scope. Better piston will build more power with more pumps, but you have to work for it. Pumper to PCP doesn't make much sense. You could have started with a 2240.

    "No airguns allowed here"

When I explained that the gun was the caliber and velocity of a 45 Colt, they said I was good to go on the rifle range. RSO was genuinly impressed with the rifles accuracy.

Help me understand the reasoning with regards to high end springers

There is no reasoning with springer shooters. If we had any sense, we would shoot PCPs.

    Crosman Break barrel question

Crosman are generally not high priced air guns. By the time you order parts and put the time into possibly re-engineering the thing, you may be better off just buying the full power model.

N/A What " One gun " to buy

The HW97 is a must have, but as humid as it is in your part of the world, I'm not sure I would want to keep up with that nice polished blueing. Maybe an ugly Diana with that parkerised looking finish would be a good idea.

Air Arms TX200 MKIII Ultimate Springer

Seems a bit pricy for just an adjustable cheek rest. It needs a hamster also for field target.

    NRA Annual Meeting 2024

Last time it was in Dallas, Pyramyd air had a shooting gallery set up in a ballroom along the front hallway before the entry to the actual convention. Got a chance to walk in and try several that I had been eyeing in the catalog.

Help Me Decide. I Don't Want To Go Over My Yearly Fun Budget, What Would You Do.

Forget slugs and get a .177 that will shoot pellets. The ammo will save enough money to pay for itself.
