Karma Red Panda, so far didn’t see great groups in YouTube videos!!!

Three that I know of. I don’t know the actual number. Apparently two things. - the case is not only weak, the foam inside isn’t the firm type that will keep the 17 pound gun from moving inside. - the screws in the photo only have a few threads engagement. Standard engineering practice is...

Karma Red Panda, so far didn’t see great groups in YouTube videos!!!

What is it not doing that you feel it should be doing? Maybe you could be more specific please? Also, I’m curious why recent purchasers of the Pandy aren’t saying anything about the frailty of this gun? Do you feel you’ll be ostracized by the community if you tell of receiving the gun broken? I...

2024 EFT Grand Prix TEXtreme Rifle & Pistol Target Distances

Wish I could’ve made it this year Ron. Hopefully next year. I’m sure it’ll be a great event this year with two Team Centercut on the podium for both Pistol and the Main Event (Rifle). 😎

    Skout goes Tesla!

Technical Info: The basic premise of the design is to use Nikola Tesla’s Gas Diode to reflex air back on itself and stop forward flow in the moderator. The moderator uses a three-stage system. First the air is stripped off the pellet, reducing turbulence and improving accuracy. Second it is...

Whats the actual benefit of the "FX true ballistics chronograph?"

After using this for quite some time, another feature I’d like to see is a Standard Deviation for BC. The Chrono shows BC and Average BC. A SD for BC would show stability consistency of the pellet/slug and allow development of velocities that are most stable/accurate for that barrel/ammo...

    718 yards with FX Impact M3/Absolute MOA/Coldshot

Thanks for the info. I’ll shoot a few more next time I’m out shooting I always get 0.215 ish from the Altaros and confirmed by the drop at longer ranges. My liner is the 1:18 twist Superior Heavy 600mm.

    718 yards with FX Impact M3/Absolute MOA/Coldshot

Steve, the reason I was surprised is that I was told the same slugs from the Skout slug barrel were getting G1 0.170 to 0.180 BC with 0.2475” diameter. Mine are the same except .251, so I expected similar.

    718 yards with FX Impact M3/Absolute MOA/Coldshot

I received some .251 Skout/Corbin’s to test while in Oregon. I shot them (48.8 grain the same as the .2475” diameter used in the Skout slug barrels) in my .25 Panthera 600mm with 1:18 Superior Heavy liner. Same gun that won the Long Range and was 4th in the 100Y BR slug. 100Y in swirly wind...

Karma Red Panda, so far didn’t see great groups in YouTube videos!!!

Derrick’s @zx10wall groups were excellent and done at an indoor range. He did five separate 5 shot groups at 100 yards and measured the C2C of each one and then presented an average. His average was 0.89” for the five groups with AEA 50.5 grain pellets. He has previously done the same tests...

Karma Karma Red Panda Bench Model

Yes. That has been known and published for many years. I was questioning the BC variance between “old school” speeds from 850 to 900 fps and “new school” speeds from 940 to 980 fps. I know that around 0.066 to 0.074 has been published for the Pandy with 50.5 AEA at 940 to 960 fps. I tested this...

    AEA Branded Pellets?

JTS and AEA are China made. I think they are probably made in the same factory. The .30 versions are identical. The .22 and .25 are slightly different.

JSB does NOT make AEA pellets. China is quite a way from the Czech Republic...

testing NSA slugs out of RAW HM1000x .22cal

Thats one way to look at it. When I shot in the 100Y EBR Pellet and 100Y EBR Slug at the Oregon Event a couple weeks ago, that was certainly not the case. We had 33 shooters, so it was a representative sample of fairly good shooters. In the Pellet finals, the average top 4 score was about...

I think the 45s go better with FX pellet liners.

It appears to be an accurate pellet rifle for bench. One thing I am wondering about, is it the new ammo that is also contributing to the accuracy, and not just the gun? Yes, Thayne shot last year with the FULLY sorted (and polished?) JSB 44.75, but that was in a prototype gun, not the...
