Well, I checked the hammer weight and spring and they both look correct for a 0.30 cal. The hammer weight is 13g and the spring is 52 mm. I'm going to reset the regs at 170 and 140 (or as close as I can with that tiny gauge) and try it over the chrony again while adjusting the IHS.

How exactly would I do this?? This is a new gun so I don't want to void the warranty. I've never really did much work on pcps so this is all new territory for me. In fact, does IHS mean "internal hammer spring"?

I did read the owners manual several times. It states that the 2nd reg should be 25 to 50 bar lower than the first reg. I also watched several videos including the Ernest Rowe video. I believe Rowe set his at 150 and 170 for "high power". I did notice that my gun has a different reg gauge...

I got a chance to shoot my new 0.30 cal FX Maverick Sniper this evening. I have the first regulator set at 180 bar and the second reg at 150 bar. I'm shooting 50.15 grain JSBs with the hammer spring wheel all the way up to number 7 and only getting a velocity of 750 fps. Does this sound right...

The 45 grain 0.30 cal AEAs shoot better in my Gauntlet SL30 than any of the other pellets and slugs I've tried including JSBs,JTSs and various weight slugs. I can get a 1/8" c-c 5 shot group at 25 yards with them.

I have a Gauntlet SL30. I have not shot it much yet just at 20 yards. At 20 yards my best 5 shot groups are 7/16 inch. That is with 50.15 JSB, 45.06 JTS and 64 Gr Javelin slugs.

Benjamin Akela, terrible accuracy, can't get better than 1" groups at 20 yards with any pellet I've tried. Also, 0.22 cal. RAW HM1000X- less than 9 months old and already leaks and accuracy is no better than my $500 Cayden.

Nope, shooting the same pellets from the same lot.

I'm still wearing the same glasses. The POI shifts are generally down and to the right. I didn't really pay attention to the magnification.

I did check velocities and didn't find any change. I don't know what a SFP scope is, all my scopes are AO budget (under $125) scopes.
