Yeah, what Scott said. More that likely you “shut off” the reg by setting the “float” to tight. If you don’t have a reg testing, the only thing u can do is back out bit by bit. But ultimately , you need to reg testing to set it up again.

So there was already a larger plenum volume in the HMX platform before airforce bought them. effectively took place when they had a thread change on the regs. Are you saying they further enlarged the plenum when the blanking plug was removed?

I’m guessing they just drilled it from the top. They got three grub screws, not reason one can’t be drilled through to the two chambers. But it certainly would be interesting if they did anything inside that cavity. 5axis mill would allow angled hole.

I suspect they are drilling the connecting hole through one of the barrel mounting grub screw holes. Very little reason not too. But that would require orings on the barrel, not sure

I’ll take a poke at this…. I suspect you didn’t have enough hammer to fully open the valve at the higher reg settings. As the reg pressure was dropped, the hammer was able to overcome the valve and fully open the valve
