    Athlon's two new 15-60x56's

They all are I think, I'll only run this at 40-50X. Still will have to build up comb, probably no free recoil.

Ebay wont let people in Minnesota buy airguns from them.

The good guys will never outvote Minneapolis, St Paul and Duluth. Therein lies the problem with CA, Ill., NY, and the northeast.

For the newcomers on thinking this will be cheaper than powder burners.

I covered a lot of ground, What couldn't I have been more wrong on? Please keep in mind that this my humble opinion.

    FYI cost

Thanks, I started this post just to point out the expense of getting into completive shooting. Trigger time is what separates the best, but you need quality equipment too. Just look at the cost of a joystick front rest and most ordinary shooters don't even know what one is. A lot to matches...

If you are melting pellets, do you know the alloy? Are they 100% lead?

A $500 22rf rifle and scope will outshoot a $500 air rifle and scope. At <50 yards they may be compatible at >100 yards there is no contest.

For the newcomers on thinking this will be cheaper than powder burners.

Fact: $500 buys me a 22 rf rifle and scope that will outshoot an air rifle of the same value. $1000+/- for a compressor will buy a lot of 22rf ammo, even the good stuff. I've spent 10X that trying to prove it wrong. However: It is a great hobby, and a hobby is fooling around with your...

A Big Thank You for those who accept alternate methods of payment.

I will always accept a personal check, just wait 3 days for it to clear. I'm lucky, small town and I know the ladies, they will go out of their way to check for me.

    What got you started?

When I couldn't buy 22 shells or components at any price.

For the newcomers on thinking this will be cheaper than powder burners.

The compressor is the real rabbit hole! Even the expensive ones (>$1K) seem to break a lot. Good scopes always have value on the used market, and you can use them on PB. You do have to stay with recognized brands.

    Am I a sucker??

If the buyer negotiates with me and I lower the price, the item is his. If he pays my price, I would refund his money after I got the item back and had a chance to look at it.

    Joe Shneehagen accident

What would you wrap around the tank while filling? 70 years ago we used an insulated canvas blanket to keep milk cold in the delivery trucks. They were really heavy but I haven't seen one of them in years. Rather than the tank I am concerned more about the fittings. There is a "rest of the...

    Optics WEAVER T SERIES 46X48

Weaver T Series 46x48 XR scope 30mm, made in Japan. Has the fine cross hair reticle and side parallax adjustment. Screw in lens caps and the original box. Has been in Burris Signature rings, so no marks on the tube. Only used to work up loads. Reason for selling, I lost my mind and went high...

    Anyone actually own the Arken

The Arkins I have looked at are heavy and bulky. So, I am not a fan of the 34mm. My Athlon ARES 30mm compares favorably and is half the bulk. Chinese glass has come a long way.
