    FWB FWB P85 Multi Shot

You have a good eye for details. (y) I was in a little hurry when I made this so there was no testing and trying during the making. It is possible I go for just one fastening screw on the next version, it nevertheless pinches very well to the dove tail rail. The screws I have used are a kind of...

    FWB FWB P85 Multi Shot

Thanks. I'm not 100% satisfied with the result. I was a bit hasty when I fitted the rail, and cut it a bit short. In retrospect, I see that the rail could have protruded around 40 millimeters to the rear, above the grip. But that will be a project for the fall/winter. :) 👍

    FWB FWB P85 Multi Shot

Guess what! :D I finally found time to finnish the scope mount for my P85. 🥳

What pistol did you shoot today

I think the wood cover gives the Tau-7 a distinctive character. Personally I like it. (y)

FWB A FWB 55P in parts.

Actually, it works now. I couldn't leave it in limbo until next weekend, so I had to try to see if there was hope. After some adjustment of the firing spring screw and the choke screw, it started to cycle fairly steadily. I suspect the muzzle velocity is a bit low, it sounds a bit limp, but the...

FWB A FWB 55P in parts.

Thanks for the thought, but don't worry. 🙂 I have taken apart and put together many air guns over the years. Air gun repair were actually my job for a period, so I want to be so unassuming to say that the pistol is in relatively safe hands. The pistol is put back together, but I have to wait...

FWB A FWB 55P in parts.

No, it was not functioning. The previous owner said it was fubar. I have heard that before, and usually that means someone with the lack of knowledge and understanding has messed up something they just should have left alone. It was very dirty inside, and full of old, hardened grease. And most...

FWB A FWB 55P in parts.

Got hold of an old FWB 55P that the previous owner had given up. It was in poor condition and badly needed some TLC. You may never have wondered what a FWB 55P looks like when it's almost completely disassembled. But anyway, now you've seen it. ;)

    Other Tier 1 pcp

There is a couple of other pistols you may consider as well, Steyr LP50 and Feinwerkbau P85. These are 5-shot pistols, mainly ment for rapid fire programs and for more affordable volume training for center fire programs. But both pistols can be use with single shot magazines that make them legal...

    Other Tier 1 pcp

...in, these pistols are considered to be the very best you can get: -Steyr Evo10 (mechanical trigger) and Evo10E (electronic trigger) -Feinwerkbau P8X* (mechanical trigger) -Pardini K12* (mechanical trigger) -Morini CM200EI (electronic trigger) -Walther LP500 (electronic trigger) -Tesro PA10...

FWB The 10 meter SSP pistol still exists

Just as a reference/fun fact/digression, it usually takes me 42 pumps to fill my HW44 from 120 bar to 200 bar (I use an FX three stage pump). 42 pumps divided by 20 shots is 2.1 pumps per shot. Keep in mind that the HW44 shoots with a muzzle energy of 16 joules, not around 5 joules like most 10m...

    Moderator Adapter for Steyr’s LP50

I moved the Trajectron adapter and silencer over to my Steyr Evo10e today, and shot some pellets with it for a quick comparison. The average for 5 shots with the Evo10e was 71.3 dB. The difference in noise between the LP5 with silencer and the Evo10e with silencer was 0.4 dB in favor of the...

    Moderator Adapter for Steyr’s LP50

I did some testing with the 1/2-27 UNF adapter from Trajectron and a LP5 pistol today. I removed the compensator piece and pushed in five o-rings (ø6x3mm) before I mounted the 1/2-27 UNF adapter at the end of the barrel shroud. The five o-rings close the gap between the barrel end and the...

    HW/Weihrauch HW44 love

Weihrauch is just taking precautions to avoid getting a lot of lawyers on their backs. Yes, that's how you do it: Close the dive tank valve when the pressure in the tank on the pistol reaches 200 bar. 👍

    Moderator Adapter for Steyr’s LP50

Never mind my post #48. I saw a little more into this today, and it turns out Steyr did some changes to both the barrel, the shroud and the compensator/diffusor for the update to LP50. The result is that the 1/2"-27 moderator adaptor will not rest against the muzzle, by far. About 13-14 mm...

    Steyr Steyr LP50

I checked now, I paid €33.0 for shipping from India to Norway. The shipping was fast though, the adapter arrived in 3 or 4 days.

    Steyr Steyr LP50

The shipping from Trajectron was even higher, if I remember correctly. Probably flown across the sea by carrier pigeons.... 🤔
