    Scope

As was mentioned, the objective diameter will determine how close you can get the scopes center to the rifle, but a large objective lens scope could still be used, you would just need taller rings.

HW/Weihrauch Matching caliber to rifle, Weihrauch style...

My HW30 .20 cal @ 392 fps, 13.73gr Exacts, slams my paddles on my Crazy Eights at 75 yards, but my Webly Valcan .177 @ 802 fps, 7.87gr Exacts, only wiggles them.

    A good read, Ron. 👍

    What would you do?

It just so happens that I have a similar conundrum. Fortunately the warentee work can include the repair, having them install a Vortec kit, degrease the original lube, clean it up, and do some trigger work, while maintaining the warentee.

    Muzzle crowns....industry observation

Nope, not with sights anyway, just tested function before attempting the restoration

N/A What's your favorite compact PCP?

I am mostly plinking with them at the moment, and the .30 cal damages things. Lol My range back stops are 30 and 75 yards with steel swinger's Crazy Eights, shot shell hulls, bottle caps and wire nuts etc. The shot count on your 177 must be crazy. I get 3 mags of 13 with the .30.

N/A What's your favorite compact PCP?

If I have to buy a caliber change kit I thought I would go .22

N/A What's your favorite compact PCP?

Thanks My 30 is crazy accurate, but I feel a bit clumsy with it, knocking the barrel on stuff ect. I'm thinking that the rifle will be more handy/user freindly, with the short barrel is all.

N/A What's your favorite compact PCP?

I have been thinking about a short 22 cal change for my Crown. It is a .30 cal 600mm, I searched for .30 cal 380mm, but I haven't seen one that wasn't kit with the bolt. I thought if I'm bying the bolt kit anyway I may as well get a .22cal. Your thoughts?

You won’t believe the answer I have gotten to this problem

I just got a new scope, (not from AoA), but it had a distortion in it. I nearly had a heart attack. So I put my jeweler glasses on and had a look at the lenses. It turned out to be a small eyebrow or eyelash hair dead center in the ocular lense. If it was mine it happened coming out of the box...

You won’t believe the answer I have gotten to this problem

It was an AoA employee? I thought it was the scope company. AoA has been excellent with me through the years. I take note of which employee I'm dealing with, they have all been good so far.

What do I know? Just the mangled memories of stuff I read forty years ago, with a major hobby change in between. Lol

What springer did you shoot today?

Nice! Three questions! What are those? And is the range fifty yards? 👍

    Poi shift In FX Impact

Any chance of pellet spiraling? I saw a video once by Ted Beir showing spiraling. Interestingly the gun would still shoot groups, but the groups would move around the spiral axis with range changes. My suggestion would be that pressure changes may have the same effect moving the group in the...

“Right” vs “Left” hand actions-why aren’t they swapped??

I don't know any details, but I have seen conversions to pump or slide actions that might be better for you. Two of my Grand Children are left eye dominant, right hand shooters. They both chose to shoot right eyed with the left eye closed. They shoot with their dominate Eye when using pistols.

I first saw it in an FWB pistol back then, but never heard the term giss.
