Update. I left the V2 mount in the same position but moved the scope one bolt towards the rear. This helped make it more comfortable to shoulder with proper eye relief compared to before. Most of the scope weight now is over the grip and it balances better as well.

The rail is a must have if you plan to mount a scope on it. For a red dot you can get a different mount.

This is good info. I wish the GK1 had a removal magazine and I really like it setup with a folding stock carbine. Like your review, many really like the Mordax. It is on the pricey side though compared to a GK1 carbine.
