Either will work for you. What's really nice about the FX gauge is that it has a 270° sweep. Most gauges are only 120 or less Wish I could have found one with an 8 mm thread. I ended up ordering a digital that I'm still waiting for.
I have 2 veyrons in 4x16. I like the scopes, good glass, track well and return to zero and compact. My only complaint is that when I originally received them all the knobs we're very tight. Once rotated a couple times they freed right up.
.25 diameter ball for .177 and .22 The larger one is for a 25 cal, that one is .315 diameter. 4x40 aluminum set screws in opposite end. Set screws are leftover rc car stuff.
