    30-Yard Challenge

That's great! I'll have to try the 40yd myself once I return home. And yeah I usually tune my guns at 885fps but by chance landed there and how accurate it is didn't touch nothin lol

This setup is about as solid as I feel I can get honestly. Very easy to shoot like this.

    30-Yard Challenge

Thanks! This one is truly special as I've had many airguns and haven't had anything with this consistency. The Taipans are great guns and recently picked up a Short also. Both mine are the old school Vets. I bet those Vet2s Re really nice based on my experience with the originals. That's awesome...

    30-Yard Challenge

Wow I'm surprised it was so good lol. I wasn't expecting that when posting. Again one of the best shooters I've had in my hands since I've had airguns. Taipan Veteran Long .22 with an Athlon Helos BTR Gen2 4-20x50 MIL. Set at 20x. JTS 18gr pellets at 915fps. It was shot outdoors in my...

    30-Yard Challenge

I was pointed to this after posting groups in my Sub MOA all day challenge thread. Back story got a used Taipan Vet Long, looked like barely used. Shroud was bent and caused clipping. Fixed that. Still terrible accuracy. Crown had major burrs. Recrowned with brass screw trick and now it one of...

Other "Sub MOA all day" Challenge

Thanks man! I might try one tonight. And I do think I can get real good groups I tried when it was shooting much faster (960fps) and not as good at 50yds but still good. But we'll see how that goes when I do it.

    Daystate Daystate Redwolf JTS pellets

Wow what a difference! I'm a big fan of the 18gr JTS myself.

My plan is to stretch to 100yds but having the time and weather come together has been difficult lol. Weve had one of the most windy springs in a very long time. Thanks though! I haven't tried the 30yd challenge but knowing about it now I will definitely join in the fun! Where do i find the...

Tuning Decreasing Hammer Spring Increased speed???🤔

If your hammer spring setting is way above where you hit max fps with it it can cause it to be lower. I have seen it myself. Say at 1800psi your max fps is at 3 turns in on HS setting buy your gun allows 6 HS turns. I've seen lower fps at 6 turns than the max that occurs at 3. Why that happens...

FX FX Barrel/Liner Problems - with picture

Jams in a FX liner can cause those bulges? Are you serious? I know they are soda straws but that's even more shocking if you have a stuck slug and trying to get it out you bulge the barrel

    Arken Non-LRF Zulus

Very nice! I can't wait to get my hands on mine. Hopefully soon. I think I'm glad I upgraded to LRF, figured might as well since I was going for one. Needless to say I think they seem very good based on everyone's experiences with them.

Other "Sub MOA all day" Challenge

Round 2 for the Taipan Vet Long. Same thing 50yds JTS 18gr at 915fps. First shot was alittle low, not too surprised as it's not tuned 3-5% of max and sitting in my truck a few days not being shot it's had major temp fluctuations. Anyways that's a dead bird no problem so wouldn't stress. Was 2...

    Taipan Well I found one.....

That's great! I had a .177 standard before and shot really well. I'm just a .22 guy. Mine has surprised me though. I wanted to shoot it the day I got it just to test and see how it did. Threw on my 4-16x44 Arken LH4 from my .22lr and was windy but just wanted to see. This is 2 10 shot groups at...

What Red Dot scope is your favorite and why.

I've used a Bushnell TRS-25 and SwampFox Liberator. The Liberator was on sale when I got it. I like it works well, has shake awake but mine doesn't work anymore. Which I'm actually good with as I felt like it was always on riding in my truck. The TRS-25 probably fits me better with the simple...

Yup mine both love the JTS 18gr. Curious on your thoughts on the AEA pellets.
