I use 5w30 full synthetic it works best. I have the lightning air Venturi. The book is outdated 5w30 full synthetic is what should be used in it.

Standard pellet liner. I have with the slug liner and it shoot them amazing as well. I have shot some amazing groups with the slug liner.
