On the north end of that pond is shallow and I could drive long T post and hang a steel plate with chains. I just like the instant feedback of seeing where It hit with water.
I have a couple large ponds that I can shoot up to 500 yards across water. As of right now I plan on setting up some balloons with fishing line and weights to hold in place. Anyone know of any good floating target ideas? This is my smallest pond but able to shoot at a long distance from my road.
What are your plans with the .30 cal? I plan running slugs mostly for hogs and may long range plinking if I can make it work. In Texas a .30 is legal to hunt larger game so I may even take a doe next season
What cal are you looking to buy? I was very pleased with AOA during and after my purchase. I bought a .30 cal prophet performance with the .22 cal barrel kit. Had them swap and setup the .22 cal on the gun with redesigns. Plan on switching over to the .30 cal soon but right now I’m having to...
I would say do your homework and find the gun that fits how you like to shoot. Messed up letting the wife shoot my prophet last weekend and now she thinks she needs one.
Mine does also but my father made me a air dryer intake system that dries the air entering. So far it seems to stop all moisture from entering the compressor
Can only speak from what I’ve shot so its still limited. Really like my rti so far, the katran is a nice gun, and the wildcat is a great gun also. This weekend they all stayed in there cases and we all shot the RTI.
I’m leaning towards purchasing a Ronin for my .30 cal barrel. I’m not after weight or compact just performance. I mostly will benchrest off of my back porch or shoot hogs from a deer stand
