    Daystate Huntsman Huma Tuning

I installed a Huma regulator into my Huntsman Regal - one of my objectives was to extend usable shots for target shooting. My Regal is one of the last ones produced, so it has the 250 bar max fill pressure. After installing the reg with the reg pressure set at 165 bar, I got 27 shots on the...

RTI Reducing FPS (on RTI Priest -> Prophet conversion)

I’ve used this spring stock (1.5 wire thickness) to make softer than stock springs for my Prophet V1s : https://a.co/d/6kCnFbu There is also a 1.2 wire thickness version of the same spring that I’ve used in other rifles, not tried in Prophets. The Prophet uses these 10mm diameter springs...

    RTI RTI MORA ?

The RTI Shop in Spain was giving 15% off on Mora preorders during Memorial Day weekend - bringing the price down to about $1,875 USD. I almost ordered, but as I’m primarily a target shooter, I’m still trying to justify such a high powered rifle for my typical distances of 50 yards and closer...

Hi Hunter25, Your FX Impact and Crown are excellent rifles. This thread is about shooting little pellets (.177 and .22) at a small target . I sent you the link to the 30 and 40 yard cards earlier. (download cards from post# 2235 on page# 112 of this thread) Tune down that Impact and Crown...

    30-Yard Challenge

Congratulations on the 200-20X Demphana2! That is only the third 200-20X submitted in the past two years, and the first one in .22 caliber ! You will have to tell us about your shooting conditions, did you shoot the card indoors or ourdoors? If outdoors, do you have much wind? Also, do you...

What did you do airgun related today.

I swapped calibers from .25 to .22 in both RTI Prophet V1 and FX Dreamline PowerPup. Cleaned the 4 barrels. I also removed and polished HW110 barrel. It was windy and humid, so I only target shot for a short time. Shot a 185 6X 40 yard challenge card with the .25 PowerPup in the wind. Zero...

    Daystate Daystate revere .177

He is a good reviewer. This is the Huntsman Revere description from Daystate’s website. They speak of 40 years of progression across 7 versions… they also speak of “further development of hammer and valve” along with adding a regulator…. Daystate themselves don’t mention a “ground up...

    .177 Cal 100 yd BR

A 10.3 or 13.4 pellet at 100 outdoors is interesting to me, I had not even thought of trying it. Next time I’m shooting 100, I’m going to bring one of my .177s and see if I can keep shots hitting a 5.5 inch paper plate at 100.

    Daystate Daystate revere .177

You should change your thinking as follows: My Revere is the latest refinement of the Daystate Huntsman line of rifles. Its one of the finest air rifles ever produced. (Are you certain that you saw Daystate market a Hunsman rifle as “redesigned from the ground up?)

N/A Great Pcps for under $600

If you are in the USA, the current Canadian to USD exchange rate is very favorable. The rifle would be $473 in US dollars purchased from this Canadian shop: https://canadashootingsupply.ca/product/reximex-daystar-wood-0-177-cal/

N/A Great Pcps for under $600

Reximex Daystar (Pretensis) in .177 or .22. Its a Benjamin Cayden with a nicer stock, better power adjuster and overall better fit n finish.

Taipan My long term feelings of the vet 2

Hi Marc, Well, I’m real happy with your Vet 2 that you sold me, she’s a shooter, lol. I’m a bench shooter, but I like bullpups even as a bench shooter - more than many PCP rifles that get crazy long once you add moderators. I love the springless magazines on Taipans (similar to HW100 / 110)...

    Wind, and groupings.

My experience is that pellets seem to hold amazing accuracy out to 80 yards with a rifle that very accurate at 50. Beyond 80 yards, wind and/or pellet instability seems to become amplified. Even 30 caliber pellets can get pushed around. Look at these two 100 yard groups (these are darn good...

    30-Yard Challenge

Inspired by Dairyboy, I shot two 40-Masters cards with my Taipan yesterday in fading light. I had been playing with 880-895 velocity range on the Taipan, so I shot 4 five-shot groups before these two cards - bumping velocity back up to 915fps - groups looked awesome with both 18.13 and 21.14g...

    30-Yard Challenge

That’s awesome consistency at 50 yards with 18g. True story (go back a few pages) …so a couple months ago I bought a Taipan Vet 2 .22 (550mm CZ) from an AGN member. He had it tuned for 25.39g MRDs (he installed a Huma reg at 150 bar - gave me the original reg as well - nothing wrong with it, he...

    30-Yard Challenge

Hi Beerthief, Yes, all original. I bought her new in 1988. I had the Evolution 80 cubic inch motor rebuilt once, but retained the original cam and manual choke carb - I believe 1988 was the last year for the manual choke carb (CV carb came the next year). The two into one exhaust is an...
