    "No airguns allowed here"

Not ridiculous, but maybe far-fetched. I've never come across an open-air range that banned airguns. But I have heard of plenty of indoor ranges that ban them. This sounds like the most reasonable explanation to me.

    "No airguns allowed here"

At an indoor range I could imagine one reason. Say someone is shooting a PCP airgun and brings in a big SCBA tank. Usually those tanks are filled with non-breathable air. So if an SCBA tank were to rupture indoors, there is the potential for people to asphyxiate. . . depending on room size...

Mouse infestation at my new house and bb guns

This guy uses mink but also dogs and monitor lizards.

    Pcp for coons, again.

I eradicated my raccoon problem with an Edgun Leshiy 2 in .22. Well, I also live-trapped the babies. The gun was for the wiley adults that wouldn't walk into the trap. I probably could have done it all with the gun, but a live trap for the dumb ones really speeds things up, and takes far less...

Mouse infestation at my new house and bb guns

Well, the full-sized ones were bred for hunting badgers. The minis just for smaller game like rabbits and rats. Yes, my daschund is very protective of me. He sleeps either in my crotch or between my feet, every night. Same with my other dog, but she's an australian shepherd -- too...

Mouse infestation at my new house and bb guns

That's interesting. I doubt my (mini) daschund would attempt to go after a badger, but we don't have any around here so I doubt I'll find out. We have raccoons though. Curious to see what he does when face to face with a raccoon. I do know he goes after chickens, rabbits, rats and likely...

Mouse infestation at my new house and bb guns

The thing I like about daschund's is it's munch-toss, munch-toss, munch-toss, repeat. They can kill a large number of rats, mice and rabbits in only a few moments. They deal with infestations. Cats take their time with their prey.

    Rats got smart

You know you've reached saturation when you walk around your neighbourhood and encounter the occasional raccoon, and they just slowly back away from you without breaking eye contact. ;)

Mediocre guns...we have all bought 1 or 2

I don't think I've ever been disappointed with a gun purchase. Before I had a license to own firearms (I'm in Canada) I bought too many Crosman 1322's, just experimenting on them -- they don't require a license in Canada. They did not disappoint, but I've got more than I really need. Every...

    Rats got smart

This is normal. Deer do it. Raccoons do it. They notice situations and places where their buddies all start to die, and they avoid those situations and places. The advice all sounds fine. But even with all that advice, the rats will slowly learn. My neighbourhood still has lots of raccoons...

My new airgun. Can you identify it by name?

But can you split a hair length-wise at 1000 yards?

. . . and if you don't like cats, a daschund will do the job as well.

    Bushnell Match Pro 6-24x50mm FFP ➠ $300 at ScopeList.com

The webpage doesn't appear to have any information about where they are located. And all their job listings are for remote positions. Seems a bit suspect to me.

Do you have lasers or Flashlights on your PCP?

I have a bunch of lasers and flashlights, but most of the time my guns are used for pesting, so I don't need them. I tend to strap a laser on my rifles when I do the first sighting-in. I'm lazy and I forget which direction the sights move when I turn the knob clockwise or counter-clockwise...

Quietest air pistol on the market?

I imagine almost anything will do, as long as it's PCP and can handle a silencer. Then the only limitation to quietness is the sound of the action and the pellet passing through the wind. The Crosman 1322 with a silencer sounds like a coin-drop and a gust of wind.

Do Pellets with BB Tips exist on the market?

What is it you're hunting that needs so much penetration? I largely just hunt raccoons with a .22, and I always get pass-throughs. So expansion is mainly what I'm looking for.

My little dude is all grown-up

Caught two rabbits tonight. Got one last week, almost by accident and it triggered something deep down inside of him. Usually can't stand being out in the cold, but tonight he was outside on his own for two hours. At least, I think that's two rabbits. Might be a rabbit and a small rat...

EDgun Leshiy 2 .25 Slug Velocities

One test you could try is taking the moderator off. Maybe trying some groups without any muzzle device, and maybe some with an air stripper on. Does the valkyrie have some sort of air stripper inside?
