get a few different weights of domes, JSB,JTS,and H&N all make high quality pellets. dont waste your time with super lightweight pellets,and pointed pellets.

may i ask why the hornets? reason i ask is, pointed pellets wont be nearly as accurate as domes.

if the crossfire II doesnt have parallax adjustment, youll be burdened by a blurry view at airgun ranges. side focus or adjustable objective is a must IMO for airguns.

sorry to burst your bubble, but truthfully, slugs are for pcp airguns,not break barrels never saw a break barrel ever shoot them with anything resembling accuracy. a break barrel calls for pellets, pick up some jsb or h&n pellets.

nope, ares sent me another whole valve/reg assembly. and it was better,but still not perfect. i sold it many many moons ago and bought a uragan 2 lol

if they had threaded the actual barrel instead of using a poorly aligned slip on cover, it would have been fine. but i wasnt expecting the jet to be something comparable to my impact m3 or uragan 2, and its not hahaha

mine looked like that when i got it, recrowned and it worked wonders. the problem on the jet is, not even the adapter for the moderator lines up with the barrel, so no matter what you try it will clip. and mine being .25 there was even less margin for error. i had to sand the pseudo shroud...

mine took ALOT of tweaking and sanding to get it to stop clipping the adapter and moderator, now its great and will print nice tiny groups at my yard ranges 0-20yds. mine is the .25

use a chrono,and watch the ernest impact tuning vid. i have a compact .25, at one time i was running 34gn jsb at 870fps getting 50 shots a fill. another time i setup regular 25gn kings at 900fps for 75-80 shots give or take a fill. i can switch pellets/speeds and tune in 15min, and use less...

wooden dowel would be better. less than a buck at lowes :)

well,its showing 8 rounds, but appears empty to me. is the bolt open when you try to remove it? and did it successfully fire the first shot?

those are all things you will have to discover for yourself.
