Well fellas I have dreams of owning one of those fine high end rifles one day, but until then this is what I have to work with. 2 groups with Air force TalonP at 100yd, I normally average between 1½"-2".
Excited to see your groups! It blows my mind with the skills and talent that are on this forum, there was another post awhile back with a Taipan/FX barrel combo and it's a really impressive combo, I'm hopeful to get one...one of these days, but until then I get to live it through everyone's...
Nothing to fancy but I'm hopeful to change that one day, really got my sights on a Taipan or Uragan but until then..my TalonP and my Ataman AP16 that I won!
I was really happy with that for a unregulated gun with just a 12" barrel! LongGunDallas I haven't really thought about the power but definitely makes sense! I had a small opportunity this evening to try again and I fouled just about every group. Best today landed 4 in 1½" but I got excited and...

1st post so bare with me. I had bought this as my first pcp probably close to 6yrs ago and was blown away with how accurate it was. So over time and no telling how many pellets, I had a few hiccups here and there. The adjustable tophat had it's share of issues-resolved with Talon Tunes tophat...
I've got a AP16 and have no complaints, build quality, finish, craftsmanship, accuracy, shot count are all top notch! You just don't see much talk about Ataman, after owning this I had really considered a rifle from them but got sights on a Taipan!
Can't speak for sound comparison, but mine is the longer version that I shoot with a rifle scope and can easily do 3/8" at 30yds and have shot 1" at 50yds. I have a Donny FL Ronin on a talonp that made it stupid quite, just needing the adapter to try it on the Ataman
Don't think this is considered a 10m pistol but I'll agree with wildcj5 this makes it easier. Never shot it at 10m but at 30yds it will do 3/8" groups all day if you do your part!
I don't own one but have researched the Vet along with the Uragan for awhile now, I hope one of these will be my first high end pcp. I own a TalonP which has served me well for many years and I won a Ataman AP16 which I consider to be high end for a pistol, it is amazingly accurate. From what I...
First post but here goes, Ataman AP16 shooting CPHP at 25yds with a cheap Umarex scope that I've been wanting to change out but it works for now. Gun shoots a little better on JSB 18.1 but is more accurate than I am.
