Here's a really nice 25 shot at 50 in heavy wind earlier. I'm getting used to the differences in drift and hold with these.

The trick is incorporating the ejection operation into the press. That's a given with the rce or Corbin. I initially used the dies I made with a 50$ harbor freight arbor press. Worked fine, but not very fast. Mike

Rimfire rounds actually have a lower bc than these. Most likely due to the additional rebate on the front of the bullet...but I can't say for sure. Mike

Shot this N50 card at 100 yesterday morning. Shot these other groups this morning. 25 shots at 100 and 6 shots at 200. I couldn't even begin to see the holes at 200 through the mirage. I just aimed at bull 13 and shot. I wasn't even sure the first shot hit the paper. Without visual...

This didn't take all day...but quite a while. 35 4 shot groups at 50 and 35 4 shot groups at 100. Using around 38gr slugs. .372 MOA average at 50 .500 MOA average at 100 Mike

I use the RCE Sea Girt 3 press. I made the dies...and they don't look like anything special on the outside. It's the inside that matters....which can't be seen.

I think 247 with the big .350 plug and 246 with .224 pro plug. It will come.

I shot a nice 750 59x at 50y before the 100y group. I actually double shot one bull but since they were both xs and its just practice im gonna let myself slide. Mike

How about how they do at 100y in pretty heavy wind? 😀 Here's the first 25 shots at 100y. They are very easy. Was holding up to 1.75" to the right on some.

The 223s were LW, Muller, Shilen , etc.

Here's a 25, 50, and 75 shot progression at 50y. 905-910 Wind was 3-7 I kept making the group a little wider with shots that I over held for. I'll get used to it. Mike

After seeing the big difference in bc when going from 900 to 960....I have a feeling that the typical RA-4 Rimfire profile is probably much more slippery than it appears....but the 1050 speed is killing off a lot of it. Mike
