I put some bird seed out to lure them from the nest they built in my house. I've thought about just sealing them up in the house and letting them just cook, but I worry about the smell.

Thanks! One thing to note, is that although the slug hit the Starling in the front, the slug expanded so quickly, and probably fragmented, it pushed the guts of the pest out the bottom instead of out the back!

I would not use them on those game. The Hybrids Slugs start expanding very soon, and I feel you won't get the penetration depth you need with a 100fpe .30cal airgun at 100 yards. I would rather use H&N Slug II rounds or move up to the Benjamin Bulldog .357cal and shoot FX Hybrid Slugs from there.

I think I taught it a valuable lesson! Fantastic! I believe the larger calibers are very unforgiving on these pest birds.

After a .30cal Hybrid Slug splashed his insides all over the place :LOL:. I guess the Hybrid Slugs really put down explosive damage on avian targets!

This groundhog was on the move! He was traveling from left to right in pretty tall grass, while he was eating the tasty tops of grass. At this distance with the Hybrid Slugs, I needed to go for a headshot, as I'd be dropping this guy in like to bottom of a rainbow. I made a spot on wind call...

A groundhog is no match to an ~87fpe from a .30cal JSB Hades, especially when it's under 40 yards! Taken with the FX Maverick VP.

It's funny that you posted this, as I have a similar shot on a squirrel with my Benjamin Bulldog .357 shooting Polymags and there was nowhere near as much visible external damage. I guess I have ultra tough squirrels....
