Exactly. I do find the FX rebranded to be a bit more consistent. My first go to when ordering is the FX branded, if they are out of stock I just order the JSB's.

My M3 25 cal 700 mm barrel shoots 34 grain JSB pellets at 915 and 26 grain Hybrids at 980, same gun settings, slightly different POI but both shoot extremely accurately. Having a digital scope all I have to do is change the scope profile.

Hold press the menu button, three clicks of the menu select the another button push, another submenu select, then however many profiles you have to work through. Too many for quick change while on target, not bad if you are watching something at a pre-set distance.

I'm in the same boat as you experience wise. I didn't get the LRF, seemed like just another think to have to deal with when shooting at things that aren't always willing to wait for you. I bought the NON LRF and have no regrets.

I honestly don't think anyone can answer the height difference. It all depends on your physical build. We're all shaped different. I use adjustable for just that reason.
