Is it me or the crown and barrel lands and grooves aren’t that smooth and uniformed? Maybe it’s the angle/lighting? Here is a TJ barrel, the RP barrel seems to be a variation of lands and groove TJ uses. Here is TJ barrel picture but with much better lighting.

If the POI doesn’t shift at 50 yards then there is no POI shift if you ask me. At 100 yards POI will shift based on environmental changes and wind. Curious on what mod you made to prevent POI shift.

As long as there is no safety concerns then overkill when pesting is just about right. The other concern would just be ammo cost but you are unlikely to use a lot of ammo while pesting.
