Congratulations on your pistol! Quite a few HW44 owners here. Great pistol and very accurate. Not pellet fussy, mine seems to like any pellet around 10 grains. I run the Baracuda Match in mine. I am able to hit cans at 55 yards with ease with only a red dot.

I am the lazy one. The last three springers I purchased from AoA I had them tuned with Vortek kits. Doesn't void the warranty and I do not have to do it. Kip did a great job on the rifles, they turned out perfect.

I think you will like it. I have had my Air Charger for about five years now and it has been trouble free.

Trenier Airguns has the best price and packaging for JSB pellets that I can find. However, Jeff does not sell H&N pellets so I do not purchase from him very often. All of my springers prefer H&N so I usually purchase them from Pyramid. If your rifle or pistol likes JSB pellets it pays to shop...
