I shoot mostly benchrest with my Springers. I shoot them like any other rifle. Some like the front bag positioned a bit different, cheek no cheek, shoulder or not, thumb over vs no thumb, but number one.....consistency.

The 16 version has done the best out of my Diana 54 at 100 yrs. 5 shot groups back to back under 1.5. The 18s not so much.
