That is freaking awesome. Very nice work. I like maple, but have no modern rifle stocked in it. But do have a few old American Longrifles stocked in tiger stripe maple.

I got a short one, 22. It's a Nice rifle and accurate. I collect tree squirrels 50 yards away, no problem. I figure I got at least 30 squirrels with it. It has a tiny ping in the ear. The factory shroud is borderline worthless. I had Clague make me one that works like a charm.

For me, the Impulse 1200 is very good. Out of at least four I tried. The 4 inch Subscriber is pretty good and looks good on the GK1. Here are my current setups and I am not changing anything.

I got my spacer on, and it looks like I need to do some more sanding, but it fits. I also put the sling studs on. I used the long ones for a wood stock. They seem real snug. Once I am sure about it, I will put a dap of epoxy on it. I may put a couple of QD cups on it, too, just for more options.
