Caldwell Velociradar ..anyone have any hand-on experience?

I wonder if it will allow the use of different ballistic drag models like the ones in Mero? From what I've read g1 and g7 don't seem to work for airgun projectiles.

Tarantulas, tiny Kill Zones, and the DRS

My reason is the same for killing any poisonous snakes. My dogs are idiots and will try and eat one. My GS is constantly biting at the bees and wasps around here and I just couldn't afford the vet bill if one got stung by a hawk.

    Newbie question, storing loaded?

The chicom PCPs HS will lose tension even if you don't keep it cocked. If you're only single loading you can decock the rifle and leave it sit until needed. If you use the magazine and you decock it when you cock it again you'll end up double loading.

For the newcomers on thinking this will be cheaper than powder burners.

If you live off grid like I do you have power for the pump and lead pot to cast more ammo. I have a shoebox f10 that I've used for the last 4 years and the only problem was I blew a fuse because I tried to restart it without releasing the pressure. Airguns are great for if and when the SHTF...

THEY'RE FINALLY HERE! It's Ground Squirrel "Season".

Back in the early 90s a friend and I used to hunt GS off the 15 around 7 miles south of Corona. We only had springers so it was a little bit of a challenge to shoot them at 40+ yards.

    Diana Diana 34 .177 --- What Have I got?

My first springer was a model 34 anaversery. I bought it around 91 or 91 on sale for $119. Made a big mistake and gave it to my son who ended up losing it. It was a.177 and very accurate.

Slug price vs production cost and quality

Heck of a lot cheaper than PBs when every time you pull the trigger it's a dollar or more.

    Joe Shneehagen accident

Carbon fiber does not fatigue at all. Carbon fibers strength is in tension NOT compression. When that idiot made that sub to go down to the Titanic the only thing that was holding the pressure out was the resin system bonding the fibers together. I very much doubt that he used the very best of...

Water treatment for water cooled compressors

From what I remember they put silicate in the coolant and it's bad for aluminum.

    Joe Shneehagen accident

That's why I trust a CF scba tank way way more than a steel or aluminum tank. Carbon fiber does not fatigue! 1 of the engineers where I worked had a MTB carbon fiber handlebars cycle tested. It was flexed way more than a handle bar would ever be on a MTB. The testing machine broke at about a...

    Daisy bought out Crosman

Just look what happened to the Delta rocket program after Boeing bought Douglas. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Delta_(rocket_family) Douglas never lost money when the delta program was in Huntington Beach plant.
