    Taipan Veteran standard or long??

Taipan Veteran Standard length of pull regardless of caliber is 14 5/16” for a non laminated stock (different butt pad = thicker I believe). Compact = 13 1/4”. About an inch difference but definately noticible when shouldered. Hope this helps.

CATS are tough to kill, especially these big ones...

Those who are eliminating their habitat are the ones that Must look deep inside themselves: yet they never do! I too am to blame for this. Where does it end? I am afraid we all know the answer. It does not look promising.

CATS are tough to kill, especially these big ones...

I could never shoot one of these; I grew up with them. Extremely intelligent creatures very smart. There are plenty of options to deter them if they are stalking you. They do not know any different & are wired from birth as natural born hunters. They were not given a choice as this who they are...

AirMaks Arms Krait Lite .17 vs Quadrant on a Gloomy day

Michael or MikeVV might either one of you be able to provide the length of pull on the Krait Lite? Do only the bottle versions of the Krait have the option for a wood stock? The specifics on these rifles vary depending upon the chosen venders as well as the factories website making it difficult...

AirMaks Arms Krait Lite .17 vs Quadrant on a Gloomy day

Thank you Techna. I have only seen & worked in fairly isolated areas of West Texas specifically Ozona, Fort Stockton, Lake Amistade/ Del Rio during the early spring and summer & they looked nothing like Michaels’ surroundings although I thoroughly enjoyed the hospitality of the people I met...

AirMaks Arms Krait Lite .17 vs Quadrant on a Gloomy day

Thanks for sharing Michael. I did not know the Krait was available with wood; very nice. Looks to be very well made and an accurate flat shooter. Does the Krait have an anti double load feature? May I ask where one might acquire a wood stock version? Your outside surroundings are beautiful...

    FX FX Vs Competitors

To all reading this thread. I have unintentionally misinformed you regarding reference to a/the AGT/ Vulcan/ Uragan slug guru I mentioned in the previous post. The gentlemans name is Hearkens not Haskins. This has not been sitting well with me since I posted it as myself searching for his name...

    Vector Veyron IR 3-12×44

If you remain in your point blank range and have adequate ambient light you already have all that you need. If you do not have adequate ambient light but still remain within your point blank range a predator light will be needed. I use an Odepro model 57 I believe. It is more than adequate for...

Kalibrgun Is Kalibrgun late in technology advances?

Thank you Myles, The Kalibrgun website is the source for my research & apparently has quite a bit of conflicting information as well as incorrect pictures portraying certain models. Thank you for correcting me & helping me to get a better understanding of your particular gun as it is the one I...

    Vector Veyron IR 3-12×44

Hi Headshots, My reference to thermal was soley to relieve eye strain from constant viewing through nightvision. Thermal is an additional tool to scan for prey. It is quick and effective therefore preventing constant scaning through nightvision eliminating excessive eye strain. I am not clear...

Kalibrgun Is Kalibrgun late in technology advances?

It appears that all Kalibrgun Cricket II’s are not equal and that is dissapointing & in my opinion bad for business. For example: A Tactical Cricket II has a cocking indicator & I love that feature. Not only a huge safety feature but an excellent visual aid to prevent double loading which...

Kalibrgun Is Kalibrgun late in technology advances?

@Footloose your blowing an O ring can be cured by insuring the bolt/cocking lever/ charging handle is fully closed. Many guns experience the same result if the bolt is not fully closed/seated. Your pressure differential between fill pressure and regulator pressure can also be sorted. There are...

@Headshots & @Ezana4CE A thanks to the both of you for an insightful, thorough discussion in this thread. This specific scope VV 3-12x44IR was a recent acquisition for a bullpup that is used for pest hunting Boar (depredation) at night. My first impression of looking through this scope, during...

Kalibrgun Is Kalibrgun late in technology advances?

@mubhaur, Thank you Sir for the verification on the new larger plenum. Wow! That is also a very nice addition. It is a shame Kalibrgun does not offer a threaded shroud on the Cricket II airtube models; I have only seen that feature on their bottle fed guns.

@wolfmangreg, There is a bullpup carbon stock model available in the states at Airguns of Arizona it is just not featured on there website for some reason. The carbon stock is quite expensive as one would expect.

And there we have it! Cocking handle placed on the left side, ambidextrous - that feature alone is indeed an improvement. Thank you Kayaker. Improvements for Cricket II: 1) Forward cocking 2) ambidextrous Is anyone aware of any additional improvements over the original Cricket other than the...
