Quietest air pistol on the market?

I imagine almost anything will do, as long as it's PCP and can handle a silencer. Then the only limitation to quietness is the sound of the action and the pellet passing through the wind. The Crosman 1322 with a silencer sounds like a coin-drop and a gust of wind.

Do Pellets with BB Tips exist on the market?

What is it you're hunting that needs so much penetration? I largely just hunt raccoons with a .22, and I always get pass-throughs. So expansion is mainly what I'm looking for.

My little dude is all grown-up

Caught two rabbits tonight. Got one last week, almost by accident and it triggered something deep down inside of him. Usually can't stand being out in the cold, but tonight he was outside on his own for two hours. At least, I think that's two rabbits. Might be a rabbit and a small rat...

EDgun Leshiy 2 .25 Slug Velocities

One test you could try is taking the moderator off. Maybe trying some groups without any muzzle device, and maybe some with an air stripper on. Does the valkyrie have some sort of air stripper inside?

    Precision Pecking Order: Slug Brands

I'd like to say something uncontroversial. Altaros slugs are the prettiest.

EDgun Leshiy 2 .25 Slug Velocities

What kind of muzzle device do you have on it: moderator, air stripper, etc?

From which point do you range your targets?

I pest at 10-30 yards, so I zero my scope at around 30 years.

Foot Lbs verses roof damage ?s

The angle of attack will greatly vary the answer to your question. If you're shooting into the flat face of the roofing (i.e. pellet trajectory coincides with the roof normal), you'll need to tread lightly. But if the roof is only at a 10-degree angle to your pellet trajectory, almost...

    USPS Tracking

Occasionally I get trouble tracking with USPS, but it's pretty infrequent. The most common problem I experience is my parcel doesn't get properly entered into their system. So the tracking number I have is for the last parcel sent with that tracking number. So it'll tell me my parcel was...

EDgun Leshiy 2 9mm Won’t Leave My Brain.

You seem to have it pretty much wrapped-up. The L2 is pretty much my only airgun. I have a Crosman 1322 for when I want the quietest shot possible. But the Leshiy 2 suffices for almost every pesting operation I do. I could imagine wanting another airgun if you were into long-distance target...

    Tuning Does size matter (moderators)?

While the volume of a moderator matters, the actual internal shape of the moderator matters a lot, as well. The modern newfangled 3d-printed moderators that have a sponge/tunnel internal geometry -- something that would be near-impossible to machine by hand -- those appear to be very capable...

Whats the longest shot youve ever taken and with which airgun

1,777 yards is apparently the record. I'm a little shy of that, likely around 60 yards is the longest shot I've attempted with an airgun. https://www.airgunnation.com/threads/new-world-record-longest-airgun-hit.1296254/

Major poi shift with just ammo

I would guess your finickiness is barrel harmonics. Could you try attaching an air stripper, or putting a weight on the end of your barrel, to see how that affects things?

    Barrel polishing vs. Cleaning time

Other than "clean when necessary" something to keep in mind is that sometimes when you switch to a different projectile material (lead to copper, for example) you need to clean. Not sure what it is but you appear to get inconsistent friction levels when shooting copper out of a lead-fouled barrel.

    No target shooting anymore?

He looks a little under-gunned there. I recommend 44 magnum for carpenter bees.

    Fill line assembly

I just buy whatever I can find. Where do you get your hose lines from?

    Fill line assembly

Hi all, I've mostly been using these fill lines from Huma Air. These fill lines have a loose connection between the hose and the attached female fastener. So I find I have to be a little careful when attaching quick-detach heads to these lines. In the gap between the hose and the fastener...

    No target shooting anymore?

Except for when I take my son to the shooting range, I only use my air gun for pesting. So it never really gets boring. If the pests are bad it can feel a bit chore-like but never boring. But the pest population has been low for years now.
