I get that. However, we're talking 100 maybe 150-200yds max vs 500+ yds and much less recoil. You can find decent scopes new for $100 and OP could find $200 scope for that price secondhand. I just dislike this antiquated notion of if gun costs this much, optic must cost this much and then...

Scope covers in storage only. If you're using it just be prepared to wipe or blow it off.

It's an Airgun, not a multi-thousand dollar precision rifle. You want good but you don't have to shell out for it.

Just make sure you have a healthy amount of sunlight or one of the light bar additions if it's going to be overcast etc...

Had one item shipped from Hong Kong come in 4 days and I'm now at 4 weeks for a different item from Hong Kong.

Just some regular 3M clear packing tape. I'm sure there might be some better water-resistant tape out there but I already had this lying around.

I have one of those cheap thermal printers and the labels for shipping. Stuck it to the stock and put a piece of clear tape over to help keep water off it.

Been looking at getting this optic. Anyone have any experience with one and maybe wanting to let me pay them instead of a box store? 😁
