BSA BSA Pre-War .177 Caliber Rifle

BSA Pre-War .177 Caliber Rifle Hello to all; Back in the late seventies I was at a Gun Show in Fredericksburg Texas and came across what looked to me like a Pre-War BSA barrel cocking Rifle in .177 caliber, it was not in real good shape rust on barrel and receiver etc; and of course, would not...

Shattered by 250z Trigger: Can Someone Please Direct Me to the Nearest Exit?

First rule when you find yourself in a hole, stop digging, a rule I have violated many times! I know nothing of that rifle, but I see that it is a domestic product from Arkansas, and this might work in your favor. I don't think that you will find an after-market trigger solution, there just...

FX FX Impact M3 1st Reg Deleted 300 bar?

I've got an FX Impact M3 and deleted the first reg with the Huma Air kit and have the high pressure Huma Air second reg. Things are going great but I have a 700cc 300 bar bottle installed and I've only been filling it to 250 bar. Would it be ok to fill it to 300 bar? I've read here somewhere...

What Wood you make of this?

They are all highly figured walnut I believe. For a rifle with significant recoil straight grain in the forend is desirable so it can withstand the recoil. But for most air rifles kick is very minimal. I've made several stocks but none with wood that nice. I made a stock of scrap softwood...

    EDgun announced

Cool Bullpup but they’re wrong about one thing: “Innovative: The FENIX is the first PCP air rifle to incorporate the air reservoir above the barrel, optimizing balance and stability during shooting.” The first pcp rifle with the airtube over the barrel was the Lobo Mustang. Having an *air...

    Ugly paintwork.

Hello everybody, Being a newbie here but not to air rifle shooting, this is my first thread. I have recently purchased a very nice air rifle, the make is irrelevant. It has been subject to a rather sub standard camo paint job which I am considering removing. The wooden stock is unpainted but the...

Let's see those air tanks/ Bottles and carrier's please.

I thought of this thread after a picture that someone posted and realized I never seen a discussion of this kind. So, let's hear your thoughts on, from small to very large, and how are used. I have three bottles, with a capacity of 6.9 liters each, for two reasons. First, shooting range is off...

Tuning When did you decide to start working on your springers?

Don't sweat it. Do your research first and use an inexpensive gun to experiment with. That's what I did and eventually I got brave enough to disassemble my HW air rifles.

    Beeman I couldn't resist 🤪(Update it's finally here)

There is plenty of .20 cal. pellets available now (now is the operative word here), however that wasn't the case six months ago or for some times before that, that's why air gunners who contemplate including their air guns a foraging tools in their emergency stores almost always recommend...

FX Help Needed: New Panthera Air Rifle Leaks

Hey everyone, I'm having a problem with my new 700 mm Panthera air rifle and could use some advice. Basically, when I removed the air bottle for the first time, all the air pressure from the gun's plenum released through the back air tank port. It's weird because my rifle is still pretty new -...

N/A Help me make a poor financial decision:)

My first thought as I read your (OP) post was a BRK Ghost until I saw your preference for wood. Whoops, I forgot there is a wood aftermarket stock for the Ghost now. Pretty cool looking I think. With wood I think the higher end Air Arms would make a nice fit for you, the workmanship is...
