@jonas74 - Hello and welcome to AGN. I suggest .22 for your PCP. More pellet choices and more pellets per tin versus .25. Budget a compressor into your plans. You are going to need one and soon. A good one costs less than my first hand pump.

    Benjamin Feeding my Akela

Mine arrives tomorrow. I ordered two 13.4 gr pellets and 2 10.5 gr to try. My first 177 PCP. can't wait. Keep us up to date and I will do the same. Friend of mine close by gets his today.

New PCP barrel cleaning. Are they all this grimy?

When I got my new PCP I shot maybe 150 pellets through it and then cleaned the barrel, it didn't look that bad. The first patch was dirtier than expected but since I am new to PCP's and having read some threads about cleaning new barrels, I figured it was par for the course. I am wondering do...

    N/A 1k budget. First PCP

Watch the used market. If you don't get an affordable and modifiable umarex, I might point you to watching used guns and in particular the fx dreamline. Ez tuning, lovely trigger and accuracy, plenty of power. Most of the benefits of an fx with less of the negatives. Just my opinion on it...

FX FX Maverick Compact .30 Cal - First shots review

Before I start this review. This is my first "expensive" PCP, all of my previous experience is with guns under the $1k mark. For all I know this gun is crap compared to guns at the same price range. Also, this review is from very little experience with the gun, it is a "first shot review" for a...

What did you order / receive airgun related today? Thread

Old Russian made PCP, it was the first super compact bullpup pcp to be brought into the market. It currently has the bat moderator, but from factory it comes with the shorter one, OAL of about 22.3", with the BAT moderator about 24-24.5" I got one for my buddy just like this but in .25, it makes...

I use an Uragan compact .22 tuned to around 22 ft/lbs with 15 grain pellets. If I could go back in time, I would have bought a non-regulated air arms .22 and tuned it to where I wanted it. I want to pick up the pcp, make one shot, and put it down. Leaving my pcp outside with temperature...

@jonas74. Welcome to AGN. Be prepare to learn and take in as much information about PCP before making your first purchase. My suggestion is to wait and learn more about any particular gun that fancy you before jumping in and buy too quickly. You will ended up with more than one gun soon or...

    Here we go again !!

...when I first came to Airgun Nation. At that time, I had a AEA357 Challenger big bore, and I couldn't wait to tell the world about my very first pcp ( 300fpe) you called me a liar and belittle me here because you had a taurus that was modified that wasn't 300 fpe. You were right to this day...

    Beeman Qb 79 Pcp

Pretty cool! I have a Tim McMurry modded QB78. I wonder if the ninja reg would work with that? BTW, where does one get a Ninja regulator? As in Ninja paintball?

Tuning First time with a non PCP and need an advise

I am doing my backyard - property damage protection - temporarily with my .22 Leshiy2. This was my least power option safely doing the critters control in the backyard. But I want my L2 back to my gun club games. A friend offered me he's Daisy 753S Elite I can use as long I wish. I got it to...

This upsets me because it is not helpful

I agree. My first PCP was a 42 FPE 25 caliber Avenger $400, which allowed me to its mechanics and modify it to achieve 100 FPE. This not only provided a valuable learning experience but also enabled me to advance to the next level of power without needing to purchase another PCP at that time...

Newbie here, looking at my first PCP

I agree about the sights. It would also be an awesome "first pcp", in my opinion.

@JimNM Did you like the Tormenta? I am after my first PCP and really want something compact so because I am unable to buy a Kral NP-02 I am looking at the Tormenta or the webley nemesis x. any experienced opinion you could offer would be appreciated.

Thank you for the advice!! I’m still looking to buy my first pcp. I don’t know if I’m overthinking and wanting to purchase moderator, which compressor, which caliber. I checked out Airgun Rivision. I would like the Kratos. Then I would like to buy a good use one
