    What got you started?

...ups over the years but nothing real serious. In the summer of 2024 I had a pest issue where rimfires where too powerful. In Nov 2024 I bought my first PCP. It is now March 2025 and I own 7 PCP's , an air compressor and 6.8L tank. I am retired and enjoying these shooting options and AirGun...

    Other New to PCPs

Do not buy the Gamo Arrow is my advice. Plastic everything and they have had bolt lock up problems. The Gamo Urban would be a better choice by a mile, but not my first choice anymore. I would get either the Stoeger XM1 Scout or Bullshark first. The Air Venturi Avenge X is also a good budget...

    2025 Goals for Airgunners

-Buy nice Range, house optional. -First ever FT Match. -Resist buying every good pcp deal I see.

Air Venturi It still amazes me

I don't hesitate to recommend, especially this traditional version, to first-time PCP buyers. Original Avenger was good but Air Venturi did the platform a big favor in Avenge-X. WM

Daystate Daystate Wolverine R .25 cal

Just bought this airgun new from AOA. My first Daystate and second PCP (FX Crown). Even after researching on the internet, I’m not clear on how to adjust the hammer spring. Could anyone please provide a link, step-by-step instructions or a video? Would be most appreciated. Thanks! Bob

Umarex Leaning towards a Zelos as a first PCP

I am in North East Kansas and I have a significant pest problem with squirrels, skunks, rats, raccoons. Sort of feels like I am losing a game of Jumanji. My Gamo spring gun has become somewhat worn out, and bench testing of favorite projectiles has revealed a problem I don't want to chase...

Huben The GK1 has ruined me...

You definitely would not want it to be your first PCP. If you want or expect your next gun to be better. It's like giving a kid a Lamborghini for their first car. They would not appreciate anything else.

Hatsan questions about my first airgun

First off i wanna thank everyone for all their helpful advice on assisting me to buy my first pcp gun. and of course the inner "bro" in me got me to ignore most of the guns with good track records, instead i opted for something that "looked cool" lol. hey i get performance is important but i...

Crosman First Post - Need help with PCP 2240

Hi. First time poster. I have a very modified Crossman 2240. It’s a PCP conversion and is heavily moderated. I would like to keep shooting the rifle as it is quite fun. It uses a Ninja Paintball buddy bottle as the air source that screws into the back of the rifle. Sadly the seals have dried...

Huben PCP Progression - What was yours?

I've purchased enough cheap gear in the past to always eventually end up with what I really wanted in the first place, so now I save time and money and go straight to the top. Here's my PCP progression: Daystate Blackwolf .22, laminate stock, 480cc bottle, 23" barrel

    Recommend me a new gun

Lets look at this economy gem, I may have never bought a DRS if this came out first :) https://pintydevices.com/products/pcp-pellet-gun-air-rifle-high-power-airgun-for-hunting

Hatsan Should I modify a new pcp air rifle and if so which one?

...Whether it’s just removing the barrel or modifying the valve. 2) Since you have a tinkering mentality I would suggest disassembling your first PCP gun so you better understand how everything works. You may damage an o-ring in the process but this should not discourage you. It will teach you...

    Newbie self introduction

2Ten, Greetings from Florida, glad you've joined. Knowledgeable, helpful members from both springer/nitro and PCP camps abound. Walmart's Crosman F4 NP was my first, bought some Rabbit Magnum II slugs to try and tin said, "For PCP Only." "What's a PCP?" Whoosh, right down the rabbit hole I...

    Benjamin Leaking marauder bottle gun

WHERE there leaking is the first $1000 question. No M-rods are not typically leakers ... Tho OLDER PCP's in need of fresh o-rings indeed are !!! PS. M-rods with stock valves are indeed Poppet head killers, that if failed or about too .. do leak

Hatsan PCP Newbie seeking charging advice for Hatsan Jet 1

I am new to the PCP world and received a Hatsan Jet 1 for Christmas and recently bought a Spritech compressor off Amazon. Over the weekend I attempted to charge the Hatsan and my first roadblock was that the quick connector would not operate properly and then I read somewhere that some fittings...

When you decide to sell or trade - research first

Have a new club shooter... Field Target but he will be new to Airguns in general AND PCP's. He's always been a open carry guy so... gun ownership is not an issue. Anyway, i had an opportunity to show and tell some various airguns to him this weekend and offer him an intro package. His brother...
