Mine was one of the first sold. Current models also have the valve knob, as shown on RTI website. I’ve never seen one that doesn’t have it.

Did you remove the knob from the adjuster or was that missing to also prevent tampering? The nut on mine (above) looks different to yours. Speed and muzzle report should increase as you turn it out, because valve dwell is increased.

I have always shot them at lower speed (890) based on that notion. But in this case, they work just as well at higher speed. That said, I live and shoot at 5000ft altitude, which requires less twist.

Another .22, 600mm here. Reg at 180bar, was shooting Altaros 40grain at 1025fps (93fpe) and dialed down to 980-990 for optimal accuracy.
