gun capacity is measured like pellet velocity IE the smallest thinnest with no attachments IE: no scope and no bipods , just iron sights and slim stocks .

with the fact of how carefully walnut stock wood is chosen ? why don't they make a total walnut laminate stock ? All those not quite qualifiers could be sliced up onto laminate pieces . even light and dark walnut or walnut and a lighter weight wood .

got a Diana 65 , tested it @ Hickory show /brought it home shot it 3 times and it broke , some day i will get it to David Slade for a fix .

the 97 and 77 are the same action i was told . i have both but they have different tunes and the 77 is a long , the 97 a K . Not much help . personally i like the 77 long best .
