Yup. Good scores. I was only looking at the finals shooting 44.75 JSB .30 for the three tournaments that he won compared to his score with 50 grain AEA .30 at the NAC. Seems he “fixed” what wasn’t broken? 😉

I agree Dan, that is the case with me. But for every gun I own, I make damn sure that the moderator is not LOWERING performance. So, while it may not improve performance, it certainly doesn't reduce accuracy or precision when done properly...

Very interesting, and here's why. Thayne shot JSB 44.75 last year for his three "major" wins, and no finals scores were less than 230. So, he switches to AEA 50 grainers this year and shoots a 226 in the finals (same gun) that he shot 232-7x at EBR in swirly winds at a slightly smaller target...

Exactly, they are either AEA made by JTS or JTS made by AEA, but they are most definitely NOT JSB or a JSB variant (FX, Rangemaster, etc.).

No, they do not split up calibers into separate groups. There is no advantage to shooting the larger calibers, since the BC on the .22 pellets is comparable to the .25 Heavy and better than the standard JSB .30 pellets. All targets are "plugged" to 0.35 caliber for fairness.
