Other Truth behind Macavity Arms Prototype Airgun

According to the owner from the poem (& books?) Beginning: Macavity's a Mystery Cat: he's called the Hidden Paw - For he's the master criminal who can defy the Law. He's the bafflement of Scotland Yard, the Flying Squad's despair: For when they reach the scene of crime – Macavity's not there...

    Advice on initial purchase.

With your stated use do not overlook the QB 78 line. Co2 should be fine (poi will change with temp but likely not much in your use & range) . A .177 is all that is needed. John

N/A New to the pcp world!

1st pcp AND air. So you are all set and will never need another, LOL. Enjoy. On the flying dragon rig (have used Mike for years and years) BKL mounts are much money, even 2 single strap rings Will hold. No need for a stop pon with these units. The cantilever esp. will move a scope back (or...

    Tuning De-Tuning my new Beeman AR2078B .177

Mine is a QB78 on HPA so don't really know exactly what to expect on Co2. Also have a custom valve & stem so... Just a picture of the lightened hammer and the Felt "stopper" (like a bstanly before it's time) made for a table leg or such. John

    Tuning De-Tuning my new Beeman AR2078B .177

Indoors at a controlled temp that might work but somewhere above 90 degrees even the factory spring will experience valve lock. If you can find the correct size tubing or some other seal, choke down the transfer port. John

    Shipping Insurance

NO clue at all. Lazy/conveyance ? Most "shipping stores" (like a Fedex in a grocery store) wont ship them (STORE) policy but the main branch will ship them. Same with UPS, USPS it is illegal to ship pistols but not rifles. I have had to file 2 insurance claims. Both paid off in 6 months...
