    Huben pistol.

This seems to be the de facto rear picatinny replacement for carbine stocks. He has some really nice stuff. https://huben3dparts.com/products/Huben-GK1-Rear-Picatinny-Adapter-p625621626

That would be a great target holder. Some soup cans and para cord is all you need.

N/A Air Arms Tx 200 or Weihrauch HW97

I have both. I shoot them regularly. The HW97k is available in .20 caliber, the TX200 only .177 and .22. The TX200 has a nicer stock and nicer bluing. Comes stock at 16 fpe, hard to cock, harsh shot cycle. Detuned to 12 fpe much nicer shot cycle. Small loading gate and the bear trap are...

    Introduction

Welcome to AGN! Sounds like you are well on your way down the rabbit hole. It also sounds like you are having a fun retirement. Pro Tip: Trenier Airguns has some of the best prices on JSB pellets and the owner is very good about packaging and shipping. https://www.trenierairguns.com/ I...

What is your Favorite Air Tank Range Bag?

I am still using the OEM stuff from Joe B. Has been working like a champ all this time (five years). I am interested in an upgrade, following this thread.

    New member locations?

I list my city and state but it should not be required. I like seeing where other members are from. It would raise a big red flag on the classifieds to me if a member did not have their location set.

    500 Pellets

They usually fall apart into little bits by about 300 pellets. This was a very tenacious can!

    500 Pellets

This is what 500 H&N 8.64 452 pellets do to a Progreso soup can from a HW30 at 55 yards.

    HW97 groups

Minute of squirrel groups look great. Have you tried different head sizes? Check out the 4.52's. They work the best in all of my Weihrauchs.

Hello from Maine - newbie question(s)

Welcome to AGN! The rabbit hole is deep! I suggest filling your rifle from a tank. Easier to manage. I also suggest .22 caliber. .22 pellets start around 13 grains and go all the way up to 33 grains. Tons of choices. Might want to look at a Daystate Wolverine, they are very similar to the...

    Other First PCP help

All of my pesting experience is at 50 yards or less. I only need one shot. Some peanuts to anchor them and Bob's your uncle.

    Other First PCP help

Welcome to AGN! Lots of good information here. Youtube is your friend. The rabbit hole is deep! I will play the role of devil's advocate and suggest a high quality springer. Air Arms or Weihrauch make self contained rifles and they last forever. No support equipment needed. Excellent two...

Weihrauch hw97k 1899 limited edition (Worth it?)

Limited editions are generally not worth it. I would buy a standard HW97k and trick it out with a nice tune job and a select wood stock from CSUK. That way you can shoot it and not feel bad. YMMV

    Huben Tuning The Huben GK1 V3 .22

I shot the GK1 briefly for the first time on Saturday at my range. Brought my tank and was filling to 4k psi. They have a nice covered setup and AC power. I plan on taking my compressor up there this week and trying the direct to pistol fill time to 4500 psi. A tank fill only takes seconds...

    Huben Tuning The Huben GK1 V3 .22

Well crap. I THOUGHT it said regulated, it does not. I have only shot the pistol once so far. Now I am not sure where I saw that the GK1 was regulated. As long as I can get one mag with a consistent POI I will be happy. My Huntsman is unregulated and I have been shooting that for six years...

    Huben Tuning The Huben GK1 V3 .22

I find this odd because my pistol says "REGULATED" on the side. I did not bother to do any further research once I saw that. I could have purchased a really nice powder burner that is always regulated for less than the GK1. Caveat Emptor. Edit: My pistol does NOT say "regulated". My fault...

    Huben Tuning The Huben GK1 V3 .22

Received my GK1 from Ares Tactical this week. Great service, fast shipping. My goal for the Huben GK1 was a 13 to 18 fpe pistol with a decent shot count. The pistol has a steady decline in fps even though it is the V3 regulated version. I was hoping to get a flat shot string even if it was...
