It appears from tool marks on bottle that you've tried removing it with a channel lock or some such thing. Try a strap wrench around the neck but BE SURE everything is degassed.

The finickiness of airguns toward pellets has always surprised me at how dramatically POI can change. Springers & PCP's alike. I think that's why I like my Original Smooth Twist barrel guns so much. Designed around a certain pellet & for the most part, only shoots that particular pellet well...

Have you owners tried the Altaros .25 slugs? The one time I shot Centercut's Panthera the Altaros were unbelievable @ 286 yards! Was wondering what they'd do in the Vet 2 Tact.
